Loved the onsen and the staff was exceptional. I had forgotten my ipad at our last hotel and they helped contact them and set up to have it delivered to our hotel that we were staying at 4 days later. Very helpful!!

For the price point, Dormy Inn is unbeatable and will satisfy most of your desires. Comfort, luxury, and relaxation are the best qualities. It's the best to just pop open an ice cold drink after a hot spring bath!

Nice, clean hotel next to JR Shinkansen station. It is a farther walk from the JR local train station. Hotel has an awesome Onsen and a delicious breakfast buffet (buffet workers not so friendly.) Front desk workers were very nice and professional. This is a pet friendly hotel, although when I booked through hotel.com, it said no pets allowed. My kids have pet fur allergies, so we steer clear of hotels that allow pets. Luckily, we did not experience problems, however I am disappointed in hotels.com for the misinformation. Not much places to eat around hotel. We picked up bentos at Family Mart across the street.

Generally very good experience during my stay. Courteous staff who responded promptly to customer's needs. Room keeping personnel were diligent and did a good job. Situated next to JR station and numerous restaurants. Convenient for travellers. Had mineral onsen, sauna and FREE noodle at night. What else would you expect at this price level?

First, I felt funny that the hotel is located right off the Shinkansen entrance of JR Mikawa-Anjo sta, which you can go only by the LOCAL train. Unlike Shin-Anjo, a sta before, is accessible by express train! It was a hike from the Meitetsu line train stations though, we experienced exceptional hotel service and amenities in this little town. Almost all the instructions are available in English. They even provided my husband an English brochure. Our room was very spacious with a big enough bed (larger than American full-sized and a bit smaller than queen sized) which comes w a feather comforter. Great breakfast buffet side dish consists of typical Japanese soul food plus tons of fresh veges and fruits. Between 9.30pm to 11pm, a free bowl of ramen noodle service is available. The only things I noticed missing are no AC plug in women's hot spring changing room to use my hair iron, no AC plug around our bathroom sink in our room, and scarce # of digital cable TV stations. No fitness facility either. Otherwise, this clean and super-hospitable place can easily beat any hotel in Nagoya of the same class. Who'd thought my American husband would be so comfortable staying there. I'd highly recommend!!

The room was smaller than expected, but was exceptionally clean. The staff at the front desk was pretty friendly. What stood out the most was the onsen spa hot spring.

I was there for a night to get together with friends while I traveled to Nagoya and Osaka from Tokyo. Because Mikawa-Anjo is a Shinkansen stop, and my friends knew the area well, it was convenient from Tokyo by Shinkansen, and the price was reasonable. The hotel staff was friendly, and the services and breakfast were good. Visiting from the US, I found the bathroom small, but it was a normal size at a business hotel in Japan. The room was clean. I recommend the hotel.

This is a good value for the money. Clean and cheap and a decent breakfast included. I just wish they would not use heavy down quilts when its not cold. Very uncomfortable sleeping this way. They need lighter blankets. Thats my only complaint. For about $60.00 a good value for the the money.

Great hotel, next to station with shinkansen. Beautiful bath, and great rooms.
