The hotel is beautiful and still looks very new. Spacious rooms with complete amenities. The bed and sheets were comfortable. You can choose additional health pillows. The hotel breakfast is excellent. Many and various The location is close to the morning fish market and JR. There are both indoor and outdoor onsens with a beautiful view of the harbor. There is a souvenir shop on the 2nd floor.

Hotel has nice onsen, very popular even close to midnight. There are free soup and drinks in lobby . There are free pillow to choose from pillow counter and free scent to choose daily. The breakfast is a must go, really fabulous spread and delicious.

Room was small cosy and clean, communal areas comfortable and chic. Very busy and popular hotel due to the Spa (many people walk around or eat/drink in the bar in their spa pj's). Memorable for a superb quality and very extensive breakfast buffet catering to every taste. Walking distance to a lot of sights and 10 minutes to the JR station.
Helpful reception staff, incredibly busy tho so quite a few queues.

Hotel is clean, if a bit dated, and is in a good location - 5 minutes walk from the train station and 2 minutes from the morning market.
The breakfast buffet is FABULOUS, the best I have ever seen! Seafood galore, lots of other protein choices (eggs, beef, chicken etc.), salads, sweets, rice dishes - on and on. Lots of choices and all highest quality. Suggest getting the buffet with the room booking - it is a bit expensive to pay when you arrive - $3500 yen.
3 or 4 days is enough in Hakodate, but it is a nice town full of friendly people.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The onzen was amazing, amenities like laundry were appreciated and the staff were incredibly helpful. We loved the location as everything was walkable. Would recommend!

Really nice hotel, easy walking distance from the Hakodate train station. In addition to beds, our room had a small side-couch and a desk, and there was enough space for several pieces of luggage. Air conditioning worked well, which was a relief in the current heat wave. The breakfast was great, featured a variety of Hokkaido seafood, as well as the usual Japanese and Western options. We did not use the spa. The front desk people were great, very nice and helpful when we were looking at restaurant and museum options. There was always at least one person who spoke some English.

Highly recommend this hotel if you stay in Hakodate. The room is very clean and comfortable. You can see that the hotels take care of every detail. The breakfast is also very good. You can even have salmon roe in the breakfast buffet. The location is great because it is next to the restaurant street and the tourist spots. We loved it very much!

I booked this hotel primarily for its seafood buffet that has been shared through social media. I am a huge uni and scallop fan so when I saw the mounds of seafood that were offered, there really was no other choice for me.
The hotel itself is very modern and streamlined and the staff are extremely courteous. We arrived from Kyoto a bit late and was pleasantly surprised at how luxurious and comfortable our regular 7th floor room was. With all the necessary amenities provided, I think this hotel really exemplifies omotenashi.

Great location. A walk away from the Morning Market. It’s also close to the red brick warehouse area. Grwat shopping and dining too.Up the street, there are other restaurants you may wish. Forgot the name but the street, killer A5 beef. Price within reach for anyone

A 2-min walk to the Hakodate Morning Market. Superb public bath facilities. Can't say more - great combination of location and facilities. You even get to choose your pillow and scent for the room.

This is a really exceptional hotel. Convenient location a short walk from the train station and many tourist sites. The hotel felt brand new and was spotless. Two things really make this hotel stand out. First, the rooftop onsen with views of Mt Hakodate was just fantastic. Second, the breakfast buffet is out of this world - on par with something you’d get in Las Vegas. You probably shouldn’t call it a breakfast buffet as there were so many high quality food options with the fresh seafood being the star attraction. It’s worth stopping in Hakodate just to have this hotel experience!
