Very friendly staff. It was easy to store our luggage for the day. Lots of little extras like toothbrushes, razors, and face cream. The breakfast was terrific. The room was super clean if a little older and worn, but I’d take clean over new any day.

This property is just opposite to Nagano station. Buses going towards Hakuba and Snow Monkey Park is on the same side as this Hotel (just opposite to Hotel). Had a 7 eleven convenience store next to the property.

This was great value for a hotel room right beside Nagano Station. I was surprised when entering the lobby by how nice the hotel was, since what I paid would have been for a budget hotel. The room was clean and had all the standard amenities. The staff were helpful with things like shipping our luggage and answering questions.

No control of air conditioner, room was boiling hot and we needed to open the window to the snowy conditions to cool down the room…very uncomfortable

It was a good and spacious room. Staff was friendly. Everything very well accessible. 1 min away from a 7-11
My only concern was the laundromat service. Apparently on the app when i was booking it. They indicate they have this service. But when i arrived and ask the staff. Apparently the laundromats is 950m to 1km+ away from the hotel. There are two, one open until midnight, another 24hrs and the latter is further.
They do provide free rental bicycle(first come, first serve basis) and you can cycle to the laundromat. But do take note for travellers who are looking for laundromat machine in the hotel. They do not have one

Nice hotel close to Nagano station, friendly staff, clean room. Just the wifi was slow and there's no fan in the bathroom. But overall would stay again.

Property location very convenient, close to the JR station. The property itself is very dated, the rooms are very worn and uncomfortable. The room was uncomfortably hot, window doesn’t open unless you ask for a key from reception. WiFi didn’t work at all in the room, sockets weren’t strong enough to charge even a toothbrush! No ventilation at all, not even in the bathroom.
Overall staff were friendly and the location is great. However the hotel itself needs updating.

Medium-sized hotel conveniently located near Nagano train station. Staff members were very hospitable. Room size was ok. The only downside was that the toilet facilities were a bit worn down and outdated. However, given the cheap price, it is overall a decent hotel.

Hotel Courtland is like a time machine. The room is very 1970s-ish. It's very aged, but comfortable and clean.
My biggest complaint is that individual rooms don't have control of their AC. There were signs everywhere that, if you're hot, open your window. I'm sure in the summer this would change.
Despite facing the train station, it was very quiet.

The convenience of being able to keep our bags at reception before and after check out was wonderful. The air conditioning was no operational and our room was so incredible hot even after keeping the window open. The beds were also extremely hard. Did not have a good night sleep at all. Wouldnt have booked the room know there was no A/C.

部屋はベッドも洗面所もギシギシと音がして、トイレに行くのも気が引けました。
駅の目の前に位置しているので、素泊まりするにはとても便利です。
