We lost a gold cross on the bed. House keeping found it and left it on the bed ! That’s honesty. Very good management and friendly staff.

Reasonably priced and very clean hotel. Facilities are basic but staff are polite, cleaning persons are very hardworking and meticulous, and location is 2 mins away from the JR Ueno station

Had room 610...quiet. Room was at rear, view of a wall 4 metres away..but thats ok, aided to the quietness. Clean, with room to swing 1/2 a cat. Super close to the station and Uneo Park, fortunate to be there for the cherry blossoms yesterday 28th March.

We stayed here for two nights in February. The convenience of the location can’t really be beat, as it’s right next to Ueno Station. Here’s some pros and cons:
Pros:
• Super convenient
• Great staff
• Nice sized room (for a business hotel)
• Basement restaurant breakfast was excellent.
• Clean hotel
• Our room had two beds, with enough space for our luggage.
Cons:
• There was some peeling wallpaper by the window.
• The window faced a wall.
• Bathroom was small, but not bad, just small.
• We noticed an odd smell when we first entered, but that did vanish after opening the window and where came back, so.
As far as business hotels go, this is one of the best I’ve stayed in. Yes, I’d stay here again, especially during short layovers between travel across Japan. Good hotel for the price.

The Hotel had everything I needed. The room was well equipped and always clean. The position was exactly what I required: close to the station and the park with plenty of places to eat close by.

This was a very convenient location just steps from the subway station. The sense of arrival is quite tired with a lobby full of suitcases and minimal appeal. Arriving in the lobby gave me pause on the hotel. The location more than made up for lobby and the room provided good basic small but comfortable accommodation. I would stay here again, but would be aware of what to expect. Thank you

Hotel is very near ueno station. Just a crossing away. Convenient place for shopping. However room was very small for 3pax. Apparently a Double bed room was converted to triple room with add on bed. Side table and chair was moved to a corner outside the toilet. Hardly had any space to walk, only can open lugguage one at a time with toilet door closed. Only 1 room key was given and had to slot in the room to on the lights. We cannot leave the room unless all 3 of us leave together as the lift needs the card to tap in. Requested to ne given 2 room cards instead after which

The room is small but reasonably clean. The two tiny garbage cans can cannot hold more than one noodle cup or a plate. Coffee in the room was delicious. Wish they also have some black tea. Literally across the street from Ueno station, the location is a 10. The cleaning lady was friendly and helpful.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was not very clean, thick dust on the temperature control and hair on the carpet. The room was very small. I’ve stayed in much nicer hotels in Tokyo for less money
