We loved our stay at Koko, the staff was very friendly, the room was large (family suite) and we were located in a quieter part of Asakusa but close enough to the action that we could walk over for fun. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our second stay at this hotel. For our family of four, this hotel is ideal. There is a kitchenette and washer/dryer which allows us to pack lightly since laundry can be done and utilize nearby grocery stores and convenience stores for easy meals. The location is excellent too.

Very nice and convenient location. Walking distance to the Sensoji Temple, Sumida River, Ueno Park, Tokyo National Museum, and many interesting shopping streets. Really appreciate the washer/dryer after spending 10 days in Tokyo. Also thankful for the free coffee at reception. Staff were helpful. Do note that there are 2 Koko Hotel Residences in the area and initially we went to the wrong one at Asakusa Tawaramachi!

The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.

Close but not super close to metro stations. However you can use taxis and is not expensive, to Ueno and even Tokyo station is a few thousand yens. The Hotel has the basics for apartment type property. It is worth it but not something that i would consider a must stay. Very quiet area and great for enjoying your shuteye time. Our kids loved the bunkbeds and having the washer/dryer unit was super convenient

This is a great hotel for a couple. Rooms are well organized, with a small kitchen, washer/dryer in the room, room to store luggage, and enough extra room for a couch and dining table. In ours, the toilet was in its own small room (a little tight to be honest, but very clean and not really a problem), and the bath/shower/sink in a separate room. The staff was generally very helpful, and provided maps, directions, restaurant recommendations, etc. They also had local SIM cards and subway passes for sale in the lobby.
The neighborhood is quiet and residential, but close to public transportation, shopping, restaurants, and a short walk to Ueno Station, Tokyo National Museum, Ueno Zoo etc.
Highly recommended!

KOKO Hotel was a pleasant experience that’s strategically located between Kappabashi street and the Sensoji Temple. The area is filled with shops and eateries that can leave you with more than plenty to do in just the area alone. Access to local buses and transportation are within walking distance that can open you up to the vast city of Tokyo.
The Japanese style room in KOKO Hotel was definitely a treat with the tatami mats. Rooms, especially higher up provide a nice view of Asakusa and the Tokyo Skytree. The staff were polite and respectful and also thoroughly explained ground rules and expectations upon checking in. Plenty of amenities are also provided in the lobby to assist your stay.
Would definitely stay again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The room was spacious and even included a washer/dryer. The front desk staff were very friendly and assisted us with couriering our luggage to our next hotel. The only downside is that it's not very close to a train station. Taking an Uber to the nearest station, Tawaramachi Station, cost around ¥800.
