Nice hotel near the beach. Very small toilet. Traditional rooms so the tatami “bed” may not be suitable for everyone.

Clean room and friendly staff. Nice location near cape manzamo.

Nice and quiet place good for vacation, plenty of parking lot.

We love the bright, spacious, Muji-feel reception area! The staff were very helpful! We approached them twice; for checking of bus schedule and about Forest Adventure. This premise does not have a lift, so we requested for a room on second floor. Room was clean and big enough to sleep but not big enough to hang laundry. The bathroom was pathetically compact! When on the toilet seat, one could almost kiss the door! I even knocked my head on the door knob when I got up from the seat! It was so small that we had to keep the door ajar when we needed to change into pants. Futon was too thin for comfort and we were given 1 white sheet each. In order not to have direct contact with the futon nor the comforter, we put our futons next to each other and sandwiched ourselves between the 2 sheets. Nabee Beach is just across the road, with a eating place that serves reasonably-priced local food. There are 2 “Lawson” nearby, where we grabbed our breakfast and drinks. Within the vicinity, there are 2 izakayas, a cafe and a slightly pricey restaurant. Cape Manzamo is a 15mins walk away. Bus stop “Manza Beach” is a 3-min walk and bus #120 is useful in both directions. It’s a very quiet neighbourhood and though some areas were not brightly-lit at night, we felt safe. For the price that we paid, it’s quite reasonable. We didn’t have much to do in Onna, unlikely to return. But if we were to, probably we’d explore other areas/accommodation.

Only plus point - Onna Wafuu Hotel is very close by, about 10 mins drive to much talk cliff side... about rock formation of an elephant. Need to carry your own luggages up to your own room since there isn't a poter. We had Japanese futons, can sleep 2, not 3, 1 of the comforters had light coloured stain marks all over. Toilet and bath cubicle has extremely small space. Flushing system slow.

The hotel very near Manzamo cape.You can walk to there.Lawson shop 's convenience. Japanese style decor "tatami". All facility is compact size. Don't have elevator. Nice view from hotel.Morning sea breeze. From hotel can take bus No.120 to Ryukyu Mura.

Room is not big, but clean and new. Very good value at this price.

Husband and I stayed there for 2 nights on the 3/F as we wanted to experience the tatami Japanese style hotel. Excellent price, first of all. The hotel feels like it is newly built, very clean in and out. It looks exactly what it shows on the photos. Stairs only. It has its own bathroom (not shared), small but clean. Towels are provided. Very comfortable tatami beding and interior. Staff are very friendly. Plenty of parking and easy access by car. Nabee beach is just across and with Lawson nearby ( 2 mins walk ). Surrounded by multiple local restaurants. If you are looking for a bargain getaway with local Japanese experience. Here is the hotel. You need to expect the staff and people around town dont speak english well. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely come back again!

The hotel was conveniently located in Onna, close to Cape Manzamo and had plenty of parking space. It is also close to the scuba diving site(Cape Maeda) about 20 minutes drive. Our room was very clean althought the toliet is a bit small. We had a positive experience from our stay at this hotel.

not comfort

It was hard to get to from Naha/Kokysai St. since we traveled by bus (1.5+ hours, close to 1,400 yen). It is 2-3 mins walk from a beautiful and not-crowded beach (with jelly fish net, bathrooms, showers, a restaurant, marine activities and chair/floats rental available, etc). Close to a convenience store and a bus stop (you can see the hotel from the stop: Manza Beach mae). It was about 30 mins away from Cape Maeda where we went snorkeling (took bus to Ryukyu mura and 5 min taxi ride to Maeda misaki.) The hotel is a newer facility, with clean room with typical small bathroom and friendly staff, but no elevator. Wifi in room. Sleep on futon mats (a bit hard). Shared common room available by the front desk where you can have a meeting, eat meals together (microwave, etc available there). Also, one washing machine available to use by the front door (detergent sold at front desk).

The hotel was clean, cozy and quaint. The downside was that if you decided to travel bus local bus, it would be a long trip to and from cities like Naha and Nago. Only 15 minutes to Manzamo and the Manza Beach. The bus 20/120 passes right in front of the hotel at stop Manza Beach. All in all it was a good hotel for the right price. It was also a good way to experience Japanese style tatami room.

Noise was an issue at times when other guests with children running through the hallways. The hallway floors were wood, and there is not much buffer zone to shut out the noise.

Hotel was new and tatami style, room size for 3 was just nice, no extra space. Hopefully the hotel can display the english name of hotel else might not be able to locate. Restaurant and lawson was 2 mins walk. Free wifi & parking.

The floor is traditional tatami and feels good. But it was right on the side of road and was noisy wheb cars went by!

Though the room is quite small, overall its tidy and clean. And the location is good too.

まったく問題ない。しかし、LOW COST RESORT MANZA BEACHから北海荘という名称に代わっていたので、見つけるのに苦労した。またもとの名前のほうが格好良いと思う。

和室のお部屋には必要な物が全て整っていて、シンプルでとても便利です。エレベーターはありませんが、女将さんが荷物を運ぶのを手伝って下さいました。私は海利用だったので、物干し台や扇風機をお部屋に届けてくださいました。駐車場も敷地内にあるのでとても便利でした。乾燥機は有りませんが、洗濯機が無料で使用できるのはよかったです。ご親切にしていただきありがとうございました。
