Phenomenal value because of the amenities, service, and area. Only downside is it's a bit of a walk through crowded streets from the metro station to the hotel

Very enjoyable authentic Ryokan/Onsen experience right in town. Just weren't accustomed to nickel & dime charges for extra trash pick up, daily room cleaning, etc. Location of hotel was fabulous. We would stay again.

It has a natural mineral spring hot water onsen. Is amazing. The onsen is in the main hotel, not the annex. That can lead to a spot of confusion at check in.

Really nice japanese style hotel in the less crowded side of Asakusa. Lots of things to do and eat around the hotel area. About a 10 minute walk to Asakusa Ginza line station. A little further to the Asakusa line that goes to Narita airport. Appreciated the laundry setup at the hotel. Lots of machines. Washer is free. Dryer is 100 yen per 20 min. Breakfast was good too but little bit expensive (2300 yen). Sento (bath) was very clean and nice to use. I liked the outdoor tubs. I would definitely stay here again.

For the price range, this is one of the absolute best hotels in Tokyo. It scores high in every category - cleanliness, neighborhood, transportation convenience, amenities, service, etc. This is going to sound like a paid-for review but just Google this chain and you will see similar sentiments. Firstly, it's in the heart of Asakusa and literally a 5 minute distance away from Senso-ji if you're looking to get there at the crack of dawn. Despite being deep in a tourist destination neighborhood, it's surprisingly quiet at night. Of course it's close to the two Asakusa stations - which aren't the most convenient lines, but still very close to city center. The rooms are small but clean and have all the things you need, and the breakfast is extremely good, especially if you're looking for traditional Japanese fare. However, the real selling point of this place is the onsite onsen/bathing facility. The convenience of being able to go directly from room to onsen barefoot in your sleepclothes (or the hotel-provided loungewear) simply cannot be overstated. Not only are most onsens and sentos (public bathhouses) in Tokyo not open early, but here you don't even have to leave the hotel! Hitting up the onsen first thing in the morning wakes you up like nothing else and going to the bath daily or even twice a day will have a dramatic effect on your pain recovery after walking around all day, trust me on this one. This location even provides free yakults and ice cream!

Super awesome hotel that has a traditional ryokan feeling to it in Asakusa! The staff was super welcoming and helped with any questions I had! The whole tatami floor style was awesome and it felt like a traditional Japanese hotel while still being in Tokyo. The bath is awesome and you should give it a go even if it’s just once! Overall i recommend this place!

This is the real deal… authentic Japanese experience from the second you walk in the door and the location could not have been better. Lots of perks and the onsen was exactly as I hoped it would be. Not easy for my disabled mom (putting shoe coverings on an amputee isn’t easy), but she loved it anyway and so did I

It was absolutely wonderful ! The location is incredible next to the temple. Tons of places to eat all around the neighborhood. Less intense than other tourist areas much more calm vibe in Asakusa. The hot springs and spa was what made us book there and it was totally worth it! My skin has never felt so soft. It was amazing after a long day of walking around touring Tokyo. From the website we thought there would be a communal area but it’s completely gender segregated must have been a translation error (tho makes sense). Nevertheless, it was so relaxing and a hi light of each day. I didn’t do breakfast included but I did eat one morning and it was wonderful. My only complaint at all is the pillow on the bed was very flat. We will definitely be staying. Here next time in Tokyo!
