Amazing! So lovely hospitality in every detail. Highest quality Japanese Kaiseki Menue with super fresh local fish and vegetables. Big Onsen area and big clean rooms in Japanese style in very traditional old and quiet village. So authentic and lovely. That’s Japan! 😉🇯🇵💕

This Ryokan is in the middle of approach street to a very old shrine. The street shows thrived old days of town. women stuffs serve with much hospitality and have a little bit sure of themselves. The room is cleaned and comfortable, and put flowers in a vase, every corner of corridor too. The food is fish dish. The fish are not so big but very fresh ones by having caught at there. Deep-fried stonefish, a special one in the menu, is very yummy like you can eat it all. These islands are very famous bicycling area in Japan. Many bicyclist are enjoying riding in the islands and the high bridges.

Traditional Ryokan, run by a group of very kind and hospitable women. The food was excellent and the staff made sure we were very comfortable and enjoying the stay. They even picked us up by car from another island instead of waiting for the bus for a long time, and sent us off by car as well to the place where we picked up our rental bicycles. I would go there again if I am in this area.

Welcoming, comfortable and clean ryokan. I checked in for the night after my 7h bike ride along the shimanami kaido trail and this place was exactly what I needed to rest my tired feet. The bedroom was traditional (with tatami beds) but still had A/C and other modern amenities such as private Japanese toilet, shower tub, shampoo, towel etc. Dinner and breakfast were included in our stay and both meals were feasts. Dinner offered fresh fish cooked many ways (sashimi, cooked in miso sauce and grilled), vegetables soup (amazing!!) and lemon sherbet (yum!) for dessert. Breakfast was also delicious; perfect amount of carbs & protein to start another day of biking. The hosts were helpful, warm and courteous even tho they didn’t speak much English.

Very nice place to stay. Food is all fish-related cuisine and fresh indeed. Service is excellent with responsibility and honesty. Great value and unforgettable traditional Japanese Ryokan.
