Amazing hotel with an even better view. I had a superb view of Wakayama’s castle straight from my hotel room. Of course the staff were nice and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is brilliant although it is about a 15-20 minute walk to one of the two close by train stations. I would strongly recommend this hotel for the view!

Location it's about five bus stop Price is very good Breakfast with a view Wakayama Castle Breakfast is a must ¥900 very good price and with a killing view The hotel offers bicycle for free , but the problem is only for one hour You cannot get to anywhere within an hour so we did not use the service at all My suggestion most of the people will come and use the free bicycle only once even though they stay for many days why not let the hotel guest to use the service with combine hours Bus fare is quite expensive in Japan for the short distance right taking a taxi is lot better

The view of the Wakayama castle is good. The hotel is clean. But the facilities are old.

Very Good Breakfast! The only drawback of this Property is that you cannot open the window in your room. It is also a bit dated.

It has everything that I ask for in a room; a bed and a shower!! Great view of the castle too!

Everything was clean and tidy. The only thing I noticed was they didn’t change cups which we used when they cleaned the room while we were out.

It was standard, clean, comfortable, as expected from all hotel stays. But the location was about 10-15min bus ride away from the main JR Wakayama station.

Booked and stayed for 1 night in a double room. Free upgrade to Lady's Package (bunch of cosmetics samples and some extra teas in the room) was given :) My room had SUPERB view of Wakayama Castle, which was breath taking. Room was a bit old, and I found some hairs on bathroom floor, and washlet on toilet didn't work, plus the air-con didn't chill the air and it was hot, and bathroom was like the smallest I have ever used, but otherwise it was a clean and comfortable room. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was good. The castle view from the restaurant was even better than my room's. There was free coffee at the reception, so I could grab one to go when setting off for a little hike, which was lovely. There was a leaflet about seafood eatery in the room so I tried it, it was OK, but nothing spectacular. It was overly busy for them so service was so slow. Nice ladies serving and was pleasant enough though.
