Very clean and convinient place for sightseeing.If you looking for the place just stay and go, this is the place.

A very quiet hotel. Not many staff around. Room was very new and clean.

The sound insulation is close to non existent

This is a well-located hotel, but the customer service was terrible, and the breakfast bento box horrible.

Rather a characterless impersonal hotel but five stars on account of astonishing value, large comfortable and spaceous room, and perfect location. We planned two nights but added a third.

High quality facilities with professional staff. Very clean & comfortable. Check-in/checkout were very easy. I highly recommend this property.

This seems like a brand new property. I don't think I have ever stayed at hotel in such immaculate condition. There is none of the wear and tear from luggage rubbing against trim or walls. No stains on the carpet or walls. The cost for our stay was extremely reasonable. There is self-service laundry, an ice maker, and a microwave available to guests. Additionally, there is an area to pick up amenities such as toothbrushes, bath salts, and instant coffee. The small gift shop sells local demin products. The onsite restaurant offers afternoon tea (which we did not try at this location. However, based on our experience at their Fukuoka property, the tea is really impressive). The location is a short walk from the historic district and the train station. The one down side is the beds! We stayed in a twin room on the third floor overlooking the parking lot. The beds are extremely firm-kind of like sleeping on the floor. The pillow was also extremely firm. This combination of firmness made it hard to find a comfortable position for sleeping.

I was disappointed with the breakfast that it was just a bag with small portions of food inside. Coffee was instant coffee. No fruit juice but just water with ice. It wasn't clear in their website about this. I think they should tell us how small their breakfast service is.

Afternoon tea service was pleasant surprise. Great location for historical district along canal.

Great location to the main sight of Bikan Historical Village.

Was close to the old part of Kurashiki and generally well st up. Fridge in room was filthy, we had to argue to get glasses for the room, the pillows were incredibly uncomfortable and all the same. In the end they gave me a small fluffy blanket which I used in a pillow case as a pillow. Afternoon tea was lovely but the breakfast in cardboard with cardboard cups was a real turn off. Can’t really recommend it.

Next to the historical area and lots of restaurants nearby. Looks brand new and rooms bigger than most in Japan
