27 years ago at Hakuunso, when Yamagata Kotsu was the parent company, for 5 years I worked on baths, boilers, picking up and dropping off employees, driving snowplows, setting up snow fences and removing them in spring, washing dishes after meals, and camping at forest school in the summer. I did a lot of things like making a fire and chopping wood, preparing meals for the kids, mowing the grass, but the hardest part was working in the parking lot on New Year's Eve and having to shovel snow off the front door. The location of this hotel is quite nice, but there is no elevator. I didn't want to complain to the people at the Keirokai, but they lent me free passes to all the ski resorts around me, so it was fun 😆

The front desk opens at 7:30, so be careful if you arrive early in the morning. Front desk response is average The room is about 13 tatami mats, and there is room for 6 futons. This time, we will be looking at Lake Megami...and Mt. Bandai on the west side. The entrance is about 1 and a half tatami mats, and the small raised area has a 4 and a half tatami closet and a refrigerator. The bathroom has two sinks, a 4 tatami mat with hardwood flooring, and a toilet with a washlet in the back. It's clean and good for families, friends traveling, and ski accommodations! You can bring your own futon and leave it on when you return home. The heating in the room is strong and cannot be adjusted. The bath is not a hot spring, but the temperature is appropriate and you can take a long bath, and the water does not get cold and the water pressure is very strong and clean. The food had about 8 items and was average in taste and volume...I think Sukiyaki is good for young people. The building facilities are a little old, but they are clean and have excellent cost performance!

Used in March. I think it's a pretty good option considering the price and balance. The rooms are spacious, and if you have a room facing the back, you can see a small lake and the mountains in the back, which is a pretty nice view. Probably because the room was on the edge, it was difficult to get a signal. However, my SoftBank cell phone's signal reception was unstable at 3G and 4G, but my wife's cheap cell phone, which used Docomo's signal, had sufficient signal strength. The bath only has one bathtub, and it's lukewarm and feels like you can stay in it for a long time. It's transparent and odorless, so it doesn't feel like a hot spring. The staff's response depends on the person. Good people are very good, but ordinary people are ordinary.

Dinner had a lot of variety and I was very satisfied! We were scheduled to have a buffet in the morning, but unfortunately it was canceled due to the coronavirus, but the breakfast had so many items that we couldn't finish it all. It was so delicious! The room was also large and clean. The bath was also very warm. I would definitely like to use it again.
