Found this hotel at random as I desperately needed to get out of my other booking. This place was a hidden gem. Rooms were nice, staff was extremely friendly and the service they offered was incredible

Rooms are on the smaller side, but sufficient. The communal kitchen/lounge area makes up for it, if you need somewhere to chill that is not your room. Stayed over Christmas & New Year and they'd organised some celebrations (Soba for New Years, free drink at Christmas) to bring people together which was a nice touch. Good location and staff were helpful. Overall, would recommend WPU.

My brother and I were visiting Tokyo for a weekend and I felt that taking a chance on this hotel was one of the best choices I made.
First, check in was very easy with English speaking staff. They told us everything we needed to know in less than 5 minutes and getting to the hotel room was not difficult. The room itself was small but it definitely felt cozy. The bathroom was also just as small but it was a blessing to have a tub that you can soak in. My only complaint was the room could be cold and I couldn't find a way to warm it up. Other than that, the hotel is great.
There were also amenities such as free (and fast wifi), laundry (which I didn't use but was useful to know), and complementary tea, coffee, and small baked goods. Also, the hotel is close to the fun parts of Shinjuku and about 5 minutes away from Shinjuku station. I would definitely come back and stay here during my next visit to Tokyo.

It was a stay for my last night in Tokyo wanted to stay in Shinjuku for my last night to experience the city in depth. I enjoyed the building it was clean and spacious for my needs as a solo traveler

Short walk from Shinjuku station. Walkable to many flagship stores in the vicinity. Only issue it’s very noisy with emergency sirens when we’re trying to sleep. And the escalator at the front is not understandable why they don’t build two escalators in two directions instead of only having a single escalator that required the staff to manually change the direction.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Lounge was nice touch to hang out in am. Rooms are small as it is Tokyo, and some rooms have windows that don't open, but if you get a room on the side street, it is quiet enough. Definitely good location on the quiet Nishi side of Shinjuku. Would stay again.

Amazing stay, simple 1 bed room with all the necessities. I'd imagine if you were going to Japan, you wouldnt' be stuck in your room all day, but even if you were it has just about everything you'd expect from a hotel of this level. The staff are also all accommodating and speak perfect english if needed.

I like the fact that it was within walking distance to Shinjuku station, 7eleven, tons of restaurants and shopping area. I would definitively stay here again. Big ups for free coffee, croasaints and orange juice for breakfast.

This was a great hotel. The staff was friendly and spoke in english, the rooms were great and had a lot of space, the services they offered was also great, etc...If I ever return to Tokyo, this is definitely going to be my go-to hotel.

Excellent choice for visiting Shinjuku. Rooms are comfortable, location is excellent just a few blocks away from the train station. Staff was friendly. Nice freebies at the reception. Perfect stay.
