Good breakfast but not until 7.30am, not enough staff, and there was no swimming pool.

Comfortable room and lovely location. Great location for touring the Ardennes.

We stayed in one of the cottages which was modern, clean, and well appointed. The cottage could accommodate 4 people, as there was a double bed in a separate bedroom. The bathroom was modern, and the room came with a spa bath. TV and minibar were included. The staff were friendly, but during our visit were working very hard and appeared short staffed. Breakfast was just ok, again not helped by the number of visitors the weekend we were there. Location is perfect if you want to relax and take easy.

The Hotel is in a nice surroundings and hotel looks nice with good rooms. I'm sure in summer this hotel will be a top location, we were in winter time what was nice and relaxing. The Food in restaurant was very nice however the service in the restaurant was somehow not as friendly as expected. Breakfast was also very good. Parking lot could improve so as the excess road to the hotel.

Overall just amazing

Scenic location. Rooms overlooked the river and the castle. Dinner, Bed and breakfast is good choice as there are no other restaurants in walking distance. The Jacuzzi bath was a bonus luxury!

Amazing place to relax and unwind after big city. Staff is very friendly and helpful, views are majestic and it has a lot of hiking paths around. I stopped there for only 1 night during trip through Europe, but I am actually considering visiting this place other time and spending couple a week or two there.

Staff were awesome. Recommended local sites to visit and they were right on. Breakfast was very good and rooms were clean. Definitely would stay again.

We booked this hotel online a few days before we arrived. We wanted to be near Luxembourg but not right in the city. The booking.com ad said it was 6.9miles (10kms) from Luxembourg. In fact it's about 58kms from the city center, so quite a drive. But in the end we were pleased with the location, at the bottom of a deep gorge with a winding river very near the hotels and a majestic old castle bearing down from above (beautiful by day, warmly lit up by night). Our whole experience there was wonderful and highly recommended if you don't mind being so far from the city.

It was summer and they had no AC and no fans. The area was very beautiful and it was convenient to all of Luxembourg and west Germany.

My wife and I have been traveling western Europe for two months and we booked only 4 star hotels. The location is very remote with only one castle to visit. All other sites are 50 kms away. The air conditioning is in the hallways, not the rooms. If you open the windows for ventilation, you will get fly's tin your room. Dinner was good but there were fly's in the dining room. The staff was nice, but I would not stay there again.

The Cocoon Hotel Belair is a small and comfortable hotel in a secluded spot by a river. A car is necessary to visit as it is down a bumpy, steep and narrow road but well worth the journey. We spent five nights here at the end of July and were really pleased with our choice of hotel. Our room was on the first floor facing the river with a lovely view of the castle but we were rather disappointed that although we had requested a superior room we did not have a balcony. There was a mini bar and easy chairs in the spacious and clean room and a large bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. The staff were polite and friendly although we often felt that they were difficult to find and service could be slow to attend. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and outside on the patio the last. I preferred the bar menu and it was pleasant being outside enjoying the view. Breakfast was as expected but there was a limited choice of fruit although a small fruit bowl was always available. If you request tea you are presented with a flask of hot water and need to find your tea bags quick! Would definitely recommend and love to return.

Stayed here again and once more, excellent restaurant and service with immaculate rooms. Wifi wasn't up to basic usage I'm afraid.

Excellent value, with a very good restaurant. Staff were friendly and efficient. The location is picturesque. Free WiFi was a little under-powered and difficult to access at times.

1 night but could be more. Lovely location, very relaxing - good start to the holiday.

Nice hotel, good restaurant, good service, next to river, peacefully located in the woods, suitable for business and time off. Was quite warm and room did not have AC.

This is a really neat place. Extra clean, big room, great breakfast included in rate. I stayed one night for business but want to go back and spend a couple days and check out the spa. Imagine northern Vermont.

The hotel would suit couples without children under 10. It is well situated for walking and being quiet by the river. The local countryside is beautiful and is worth seeing by car.

We were booked in for a 3 night stay but had to leave early after 1 night for a family emergency. Hotel wanted to charge full price until Expedia had a word and dropped this to paying for 2 nights. We thought that they could be more compassionate.
