Metropark Hotel Macau

Requested non smoking room but room smell smoking.

Staff spoke little English but were helpful when assistance was needed. Family room was spacious. However the sofa bed was uncomfortable and cannot be sleep on. Sore spine and terrible pain. Definitely not recommended for sleeping.

The check-in process, room, and staff were excellent. The only thing I didn't like about this place was that there were some smoking floors, and you could smell the cigarette smoke strongly in the lifts, as well as the heavy use of air fresheners in other areas to cover the smell.

Overall stay was good. Staff at Hotel was helpful to assist on our check-in. We encountered inconvenience during check-in because the agent who represent Hotels.com did not provide documentations of our booking confirmation to the Hotel which cause a long delay in getting ourselves check-in. Hope to have Hotels.com to take note and improve on your service.

Friendly staffs but room cleanliness could be better. Breakfast limited items.

Friendly and helpful staffs. Great location, easy access to public transport, supermarket and taxi. However, gym only available at 0930 and swimming pool after 1100. Overall very satisfy with the stay

To be honest the property is amazing although it’s the first hotel wherein, I’ve faced a lot of challenge while talking to the staff. They don’t English Few of them tried to help us in the best possible way like the Manager (Jacky) he was the best when it comes to hospitality. Another person was on 26th floor. He tried his best to assist and explain the complete situation. But a shoot out for Jacky and the guy who served us on 26th floor (17 sep 2024 around 5) for being the best manager and for his hospitality

Nice place, convenient. Due to alots of people, try to come earlier for check-in as it says 3pm.

All met my expectations

Bed was fine but found hair in the shower area , air conditioner was noisy and smell smoke from the bathroom during mid-night while choosing non-smoking room. I like Macau and wish come again.

Pros: Fast check-in & check-out, tidy room, comfortable bed, helpful staffs Cons: Misleading lift sign, overreacted while handling guest inquiry Assistant Manager Christine was very professional, took summary action to create and check-in my booking, while receptionist was kept occupying by other guests on the phone. I was told that non-smoking king bed room was not available but she was very helpful to arrange me one. Not to mention, it was a last minute booking. The elevator sign is misleading. Special thanks to Anna, who took visitors temperature in hotel lobby, came and rendered me assistance actively, when I was vaguely looking for the lift to hotel rooms. Turns out the lift opposite front desk does not reach to hotel room floor but to other facilities. In-room dining was served by staff Bonnie very politely. A good experience became a huge DISAPPOINTMENT until my check-out asking for the names of the staffs who helped me. I made it amply clear that it was not a complaint. So far from they refused to provide their names, they were making a fuss over it and the situation suddenly went hostile towards me when it was supposed to be my amicable feedback with compliments. After several phone calls that night, they finally compromised. I hope they did not randomly pick those names A & B & C just to cater for my request. For those workers who really helped the hotel guests, they deserve the compliments and supports. But the way they handle my request was merely adequate.

My husband and I and another couple enjoyed our two-night stay at the Metropark. We were in Macau to see the city, not to gamble, and found the Metropark a great place to stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was very nice and helpful, although not every staff member spoke English. Be prepared for that! Also, be prepared for lots of Chinese options at the breakfast buffet. But that's what we wanted and enjoyed...local flavor. Just outside the hotel, we found lots of interesting small restaurants and shops. We were able to walk from the hotel to a few of the casinos and a large department store, as well as to the historic area, and we used the Hop On Hop Off bus to see more of the city. If you arrive by ferry at the Macau terminal, there's a shuttle bus from the hotel to pick you up.

Clean room, with a small health club and staff are friendly. The only concern is that there are cigarettes smell in the non-smoking room. Probably smokers stayed there before and the smell got absorbed.

3 adults in a Suite room. 3rd rollway bed is hard but others comfy. Plenty of toiletries. Limited English made room service for milk for English tea difficult and amusing, but it came in the end. Found some OK restaurants close by. We walked everywhere to tourist sites. Helpful concierge though English is limited they are polite and try. Big bonus free afternoon tea/beer food served in one of their restaurants

A good hotle. Clean & modern room. Easily accessible to downtwon Macau.

Conveniently located near everything within walking distance. Hotel is recently renovated, clean and comfortable.

Great position facilities and staff with a shuttle bus to and from the ferry terminal. The buffet breakfast is good and reasonably priced. Highly recommended for the price.
