Hotel 19 Penang

When I wanted to pick up my luggage that was stored, there was no receptionist there. Even though I wanted to catch up on time to get to the airport. Even though I called, no one came out. The service was very bad.

The staff was friendly and he gave us permition to check in earlier than actual time to check in....TQ

The room is clean, but I'm on the 1st floor near the street so the traffic is too noisy, making it hard for me to sleep. Free wifi but doesn't work. Staff attitude is average, not very friendly.

Cigarette butter outside windows. No 7-11 nearby. Good if you need jetty service as near. Price on high side.

Harbour view. Street food near the hotel. Clean room.

Wifi lelet, too slow only 0,5 Mbps. Hotel location closed to ferry terminal, too far from everywhere, not recommended if you with family specially old man or children.

The location is strategic, just opposite the jetty and bus station. Walk along the street you can find Chew Jetty and tons of nice foods and tourist spot. The hotel has it 's parking lots too. The room and toilet is spacious and the cleanliness is acceptable. I enjoyed nice shower. Each room has air conditioner that you can control yourself. It has a big window too, mine facing the harbour. The pillow and mattress is hard, and I love it. It provide a small pillow too. You can get toiletries like slippers, toothbrush from the counter. What I don't like. The sinki is blocked and the water flow very slow. There is no soundproof at all on the window. Our room is facing the busy road and there are bumpers so we are like literally sleep on the street whole night. I can't even watch TV. Too noisy. The mirror should be placed at the entrance, not facing the beds. So you can only do everything in the toilet. The mirror in the toilet is huge though. There are a few steps of stair before you can access the lift. So it is not convenient for disable, baby stroller, or heavy luggage. The hair dryer is lousy. It took ages to dry my hair. But I am glad it provide iron and iron board in each room. I will consider come back again for it 's location and good price. But I will ask for a room not facing the main road!

The receptionist won't allowed us to check in early an hour eventho the room are ready. Other hotel not like this. Katil keras tak empuk sangat.

The hotel staff is very unfriendly they seem very ignorant,

Relatively new hotel. The water pressure is excellent. We look forward to an invigorating shower at the beginning and end of the day. But surprisingly no cloth hangers. We asked for them but they never came. Nevertheless, bar this missing detail, our stay there was great. Will return (and hopefully there will be cloth hangers this time).

In general, this hotel is good/good in terms of the equipment in the room, the cleanliness of the rooms is also good, the location is very strategic because it is close to a bus stop/terminal making it easy to go anywhere. However, I had to face a few unpleasant things, where cleaning of the room (replacement of bedding and toiletries was not made every day/morning), for 3 nights of lodging (check in Sunday afternoon, check out Wednesday morning) the room I was in was only cleaned & the equipment was only exchanged once (Tuesday morning), hopefully this will be paid more attention so that other guests don't experience it.

Child friendly and very comfortable for families

Highly recommended. It was a good stay. Friendly staff with clean and comfortable room. Their bed is super comfort. It just our room window facing another building (close view) yet not a big deal.

Hotel very clean. The recption staff.. Was very very helpful.. Steven and also the girl.. All thumbs up. Should come again definitely. The breakfast was so tasty. Keep up the good work.

Spacious room, helpful staff friendly.

The hotel is across from the ferry terminal and the bus is convenient. The rooms are clean with windows but no balcony. Breakfast is also used at nearby hotels.

Clean, comfortable and good service

Nice location & good for stay. But 1 of breakfast lady we called aunty is very rude & keep eyeing us during breakfast. What's wrong with us? No smile, no greetings & no thanks at all. Remember, this will spoil your mood for trip to Penang. Please read a review at Google also about this hotel.

There's pictures portrayed in the web misleading... The ones that show corridors like peranakan house... However the service was good and friendly.. Will come again..
