Villa Kelapa Langkawi

What a brilliant find. From the start of our correspondence with Anis to our last day staying at Villa Kelapa our experience has been first class. We stayed in Villa Kayu for a week and from the moment the gates open you are transported to a little slice of paradise. The layout of the resort, is so thoughtful, each palm and frangipani placed to maximise the views and feel of the space, paths meander through the neat grass, scents from the flowers waft on the breeze and the views beyond glimpsed then revealed. Just stunning. Our Kampung House was a delight, spacious and comfortable with everything to enjoy your self catering holiday, great fans and air-con, comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms and big rainforest shower! The views from our spacious lanai across the rice paddy to hills beyond soothed our minds after busy days exploring the Island. We enjoyed watching the pair of Kingfishers each day and the Black Napped Oriels in flight with their stunning yellow feathers, swooping from tree to tree. We had a distanced visit from a small troop of dusky leaf Monkeys and the gecko's kept me company whilst washing up! The sounds of the jungle are a glorious soundtrack to your stay and our daughter missed it once we returned to the city. The pool area is delightful and the honesty box system for drinks and snacks a nice touch. We did not want to leave our beautiful Kayu and would highly recommend you book a stay here. We were invited to tour Villa Kelapa by the Owner after a meeting that became a friendship. My husband and myself were blown away! It’s an absolute Oasis of tranquility and so much more than we ever expected. It was spotlessly clean and every room was scented to perfection……believe me I’m manic about cleanliness and this is perfection. The guest Villas are so tastefully decorated to a very high specification, attention to detail and a personal touch. The grounds are landscaped and beautiful. You just want to touch every plant and flower you see. They invited us as friends, not advertising and have no idea I would write this.Their pride and hard work is evident and what more could a guest ask for from their Hosts? I’d live there 24/7/365 if I had the chance!

We have spent a few days at the Villa Kelapa during our honeymoon with our baby and had a great time. If you are looking for something calm with a pool, a bungalow that serves all needs and is well equipped, with a well kept garden and lovely hosts, you have found a dreamspot. On the first day we bought some groceries and have not left the property in the days after, since it was just so beautiful to stay there. What we found really good, was the free filtered water which was available in the bungalow, which made buying bottles of water obsolete.

Absolute gem in the heart of Langkawi island. Pristine well trimmed garden and a beautiful pool welcomed us at this property. We stayed at Villa Batu, a modernised Malay styled house, beautiful interior and well maintained and well equipped. There’s a BbQ place and we even had a walk near the paddy fields one morning. This was my first vacation with my newborn and family, and it was just perfect.

We recently stayed at Villa kelapa for 7 days with our 2 year old. As we were in Langkawi for an extended stay, we were delighted to find a ‘home away from home’ at villa kelapa (we stayed in kayu). Anis has thoughtfully provided everything you need to immediately feel comfortable. The cleanliness of the Villa and the upkeep of the grounds/amenities was amazing and a real credit to Mike and his hard work. Our stay at Villa kelapa was very memorable in a beautiful location and gave us a sense of island life living, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
