Our 4th stay here. We love the excellent location, the self catering facilities, the staff and the value for money. We also enjoy the comfortable beds and great TV package showing sports.
If you want a low cost base ideally situated for being out and about exploring the island with the option to cook meals then this is the best we've stayed in. If you are looking for spas, luxury and lounging around the pool then look elsewhere. Research prevents disappointment.
We always found it very quiet inside and out with good hot showers. It's near to the buses,ferry, shops,sea in every direction.
We never have any complaints.If there is anything missing or wrong it is soon put right by the friendly,helpful staff.

It is a very disgusting hotel. We stayed there for 3 nights. The pillows and the towels were full of black little hairs. The towels except from the hairs they also had stains and didn’t smell like clean towels. We changed 6 towels and didn’t even use 1. I covered my pillow with paper because I couldn’t let my face touch the pillowcase. The toilet had 2 little black hairs as well and in the toilet bin there was garbage from another stay.. The reception was closed most of the time and that means that if we needed help with anything they couldn’t help us.

The receptionist was half a sleep wearing practically nothing. Very rude wanted me to find my name on his computer as it was a late check in. Told me online beach front views.. far from it couldn't see anything towels in the room which were placed on the bed was dirty.. plug for the bath diddent fit. Shower was freezing and burn marks on the bed head board and my legs were bitten all night by midges or fleas. Checked out and booked myself into The Windsor which was around the corner clean as a whistle friendly staff..
Look around before you book here for same price you can have a bit of luxury not what seemed like sleeping in a dump.

Alborada is located in one of the best spots in Sliema close to restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, shopping and lots of Pastizzeria(fast local Maltese food) Super Market and Launderette also a ferry boat to Valletta and the beach are all within 5 minutes walk. The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable an en-suite bathroom as well as self-catering appliances everything one needs for a holiday. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

The most convenient and friendliest location in Malta! We were right in the heart of it, next to the shops, restaurants and literally a five minute walk to the blue ocean beaches. Clean and all was working spectacular, great vacation!
