Hotel Roma

Room could have been better, with slight new decorations and a slightly better bed it would be comfortable to stay the whole day. 4/5 stars. Service went from 4 or 5 starts to 3 stars after the last nights there was someone at the desk who's calling the whole time with someone else on loudspeaker for hours. in my opinion this is not professional even if you're working the night shifts. 3/5 stars Location is awesome, below the hotel you have a really good Chinese restaurant, and a Japanese Bakery. It's highly recommended to take a sea side view, as this view is astonishing for hours from the balcony. also close to all cruises and things to do on the island, only 1 minute walk from the closest bus stop. 5/5 stars. In general it's worth the money if you have a lot of plans to do when visiting malta.

Rooms were dirty and require a lot of just simple maintenance, no mattress protector on the bed and the sheet was constantly becoming untucked throughout the night as you can see by the photo the bed is right against the wall meaning that when making the bed a few times a night it's not the simplest task, wardrobe had 1 hanger, housekeeping was clean but the conditions of the rooms made it feel dirty, the walls were filthy though, shower head kept falling off and if you slightly nudge the tap in the small shower you either get really hot water or really cold, balcony doors almost required tools to open and the condition of the railings didn't give you much hope in their safety, room door lock was very weak and felt like you could fall into it when locked and it would fly open, corridors had horrible bright white led lighting which gave the place a look similar to an asylum. Nice view and close to town and bars etc but I wouldn't book here again even though the price was reasonable

The location is excellent. The rooms are quiet and the AC is very good. No breakfast but there are good restaurants nearby that serve that. There's a long stair to get to the reception so if you're in a wheelchair or have other mobility issues this is not for you.

There's room for improvement but for the price, it's great. They clean the rooms every day and the view is great. Bus station is right outside, stone beaches are really close, staff is very polite.
