Courtyard by Marriott Mexico City Revolucion

Hotel was clean but dead. Staff was helpful but not friendly. Used points to stay here but didn’t seem to value loyalty here. Requested upgrades for the room but was denied for some reason despite the hotel not being anywhere close to full occupancy. Front desk probably needs retraining. Restaurant staff had a problem with me borrowing utensils. Very strange. Cleaning staff was terrific!

Staff was welcoming and friendly. Rooms and building overall seem a little dated. The room was ok, sheets were clean but unfortunately I found several tiny roaches near the window wall as I closed the curtains. The roaches are so tiny they are barely visible but still there :/

Was asked to put my credit card down to cover any damages during my stay. Instead of doing a pre-authorisation I was charged (more than the hotel cost) and they haven't return the money after three weeks. They have stopped responding to my emails and no one seems to know whats going on. During my stay my hotel key card stopped working on 5 different occasions

As a Marriott Platinum member,I say this is not a real Marriott brand hotel,though it is in the Marriott system. Courtyard ,it is the representative of Marriott,but Frontdesk staff and the hotel duty manager is not helpful,and have no idea of Marriott member benefit ,service. Compared with a budget hotel ,it is good,but as one of the Marriott hotels .To a Marriott member,it is a unsatisfactory experience,the hotel manager doesn’t have any attitude to satisfy the Marriott member. We members STAY hard,I mean we book and pay more on Marriott apps to beeps the rooms ,instead of the OTA or traveling agent,to maintain the membership level,we deserve a real Marriott service. Not all the Marriott member benefit applicable in this property. The room outdated ,mattress not comfortable and very dirty. and the frontdesk ,the hotel manager is not very helpful ,service so so. For Marriott members from US and Asia,I suggest,in this city ,maybe you can try Hilton hotels or IHG hotels.

I came in here for a technology event and it was great but the catering service was not really good, the installations are really good as always but the location was not the best, around is not very nice but other than that, I would say that if you want to do an event do it with them but maybe in another location and without the catering service.
