Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

For $750 per night you except to have top tier food quality and drinks, Spend nights in the Dreams the hotel itself is good has like 4 pools and a kids area. The food on the pool area is TERRIBLE the service on the pool area is TERRIBLE. The “specialty restaurants” are ok. But I still don’t get why I have to dress with a suit and dress shoes when I am 30 degrees on the beach!!! Big thank you to the Room Service and the 24h Cafe, every single person on both services were absolutely helpful and excellent!!! And also a BIG complaint to a "5 star hotel” how is it possible to have a construction on the floor that I am sleeping 2 times I got waken up by hammers banging on the other room and these smell of wet paint at 7 AM. This Dreams is smaller than it appears in photos because half of the buildings are a Secrets. The room was fine, if a bit odd, the way the bathroom area had several sliding doors for privacy. We found the food to be average, nothing really stood out. The restaurants were very noisy due to, perhaps, high ceilings and stone floors. The pools were nice, especially the two pools for small children. We missed having a breakfast restaurant dedicated to Preferred clientele. The staff throughout the resort were superb! Each of them made us feel welcome and were available to get us anything we asked for. I would say they were A++!

It's our second time staying here and it got even better when they changed it from a Now to a Dreams. The staff was super friendly in the restaurants and we had some great waiters including Daniel. The pool was clean, the swim-up bar was always fast and Francisco and Brandon were great there. Our waiter Edgar was always so attentive. We chose to upgrade a few days getting Cabanas and it's our first time getting those and it was completely worth it. The food was fantastic.

It says all inclusive and family friendly but it’s not really. Room was dirty upon check in and doors to bathroom area are broken and can’t close them. The service was great and everyone super friendly. They don’t allow children in some restaurants and have some really strict dress codes to allow you to eat. Would not recommend for families.

**Disappointing Stay – Health Concerns and Poor Conditions** We were a group of 12 staying at this resort from December 16 to 24, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. The food at the buffet was very basic and lacked variety. The pools were not clean, and the outdoor jacuzzi walls had visible mold, which was quite concerning. Adding to this, a section of the lobby was under renovation, something we weren’t informed about prior to our arrival. The renovation work created a lot of dust and odors, and most staff were wearing masks, which we later realized was likely due to the air quality. Health issues became a major problem during our stay. One day in, my wife and two sisters-in-law fell ill with severe symptoms, including headaches, fevers, nausea, shivering, and diarrhea, which left them unable to eat for two days. Shortly after, I experienced the same symptoms and had to visit the resort doctor. I was prescribed medication commonly used for chemical or radiation poisoning, which was alarming. Later, I noticed workers involved in the renovations wearing heavy-duty masks while sanding the floors and applying strong-smelling materials. This raised concerns about the dust and chemical odors we had been exposed to during our stay. Since returning home, I’ve continued to experience headaches and pain in my chest and shoulders, and I’m unsure if this is due to the medication or the exposure to harmful substances at the resort. Overall, this was a disappointing and troubling experience. The resort's lack of transparency regarding ongoing renovations and poor maintenance standards created an unsafe environment.
