We LOVED our stay at Hotel B. First of all, it’s so great that you can use both Hotel B and Hotel B Unique’s facilities, both pool and outdoor areas are amazing! The restaurant is lovely and the staff are exceptional, couldn’t do enough for you. Special shout out to David and Miguel who were so friendly and helpful during our stay. Miguel also hosted a private tasting experience with us, which was upstairs on the beautiful rooftop where we tried different tequilas and foods…blindfolded. It was an amazing experience and thoroughly recommend.

We loved Hotel B. We are not all inclusive type people. The food was not great but there are plenty of places with fantastic tacos if you venture out. We stayed on the older Hotel B side. Next time I’d stay on the nicer Unique side. Views are amazing. Snorkeling is fantastic. The daily yoga is wonderful. We did not have a problem with the place getting overrun with cruise ship people. They were replacing the deck chairs with better ones while we were there. It is true that it’s hard to find shade when the umbrellas are down due to wind. They were building a new restaurant while we were there. I’d be interested to see how it compares. I really hope to go back!

Journey of Flavors and Aromas!! If you want a truly unique experience, why not try sampling a variety of foods, spices, and adult beverages while blindfolded?
I thoroughly enjoyed this amazing journey of touch, smell, and taste with Hotel B's phenomenal Food & Beverage Manager, Senor Miguel Angel (Michaelangelo)! He is super knowledgeable and a beautiful human being.
I highly recommend the "Journey of Flavors and Aromas" experience to anyone who wants to learn more about how to truly savor all that life has to offer.

I'm very frustrated with this hotel and specifically their reservation process and lack of flexibility. I did not get to stay at Hotel B. This review is for their reservation process. I had to extend an original reservation (originally I had chosen refundable rates) by 2 days, and by mistake I did not chose the refundable option. Why would I intentionally book most of my trip with refundable fees and not the last two days?
After realizing the hotel would not be suitable for my handicapped 94 year old mom I cancelled the reservation, 2 months in advance, to avoid her having an accident in a foreign country that could severely injure her or worse. The hotel staff refused to refund me the $2000 for the rooms and I'm sure they will sell them again. Disappointing and for sure will never consider staying there again. I'd love to be able to dispute these charges but that will likely not work. Big thumbs down.

Marbella, Jorge, and Eduardo, provided us such excellent service and really made our trip! We HOPE we're back next year!. Leaving Oct 13, 2024 RM 310 had a lovely view. Service through the outskirts of the hurricane did not decline!
The older side is getting very run down, and starting to fall apart.
Being that this is a hotel with a pool and on the ocean and open to the air, most floors get extremely slippery when even just slightly wet. We saw a number of people fall and seriously injure themselves. Hospital trips were required! You are not safe from falling on slippery floors even in your own room.
