Hotel Club del Sol Acapulco by NG Hoteles

The hotel says they provide wifi, but they do not. They give you a card with the wifi information which will not even pop up once you reach your room, you also have to ask for this at the front desk as we did NOT receive it during check in. When you flush the toilet sticks and makes a very, very loud sound throughout the entire hallway. My partner is from Acapulco. We arrived with his sister and father who dropped us off. His sister asked to stay, which was fine, and we paid 200 Pesos for her to stay the night. You have to pay this fee per night per any extra person staying in your room, despite the beds. We are a couple with a 2 bedroom. But Ok, fair. I can’t complain about that. The issue was that when his friends attempted to follow us to our room to change, the employees stopped us. We told them they had zero intention of staying the night, we just wanted to change and leave, and they told us that if they wanted to go to the room they were acknowledging they were apart of our group and had to also pay $10USD a piece to enter our room, in cash. No cards accepted. Someone is guarding the single working elevator at all times to prevent anyone from entering without a bracelet which could be safe, but considering they don’t allow any guests in your room no matter the time, seems more like a money grab. It can also only fit 1 family at a time, so if you cannot walk up the stairs be prepared to wait 5-10 minutes. The pool is only open until 8:30pm. The TV is old and does not work at all. It just seems like there are zero perks to staying here. But it is what it is. Oh yeah. And there are spikes on the balcony. lol

The hotel prices are cheaper online the rooms. The room ac are not cold

Dirty room, sand all over the floor. Towels smelled horrible. The room was really run down. Really unsanitary conditions. Had to find a new hotel immediately. Make sure to do your research as there are pretty good hotels (which I found after). This one is horrible. Wish there were sanitation inspectors who could give it a visit to confirm and shut it down until it is properly sanitized.

As I arrived to Acapulco got a taxi to this hotel club del sol. When I told the taxi driver where to take me he said “club del sol” is not a good hotel are you sure you want me to take you there? Since I was traveling with my family I told him we already had reservations so I couldn’t change it. Once we arrived I saw that the main part of the entrance of the building towards the top of the roof had chunks of concrete falling apart. The wait for check in was long. Once we got our key cards we headed to elevator which was not functioning correctly my boyfriend tripped as he went into the elevator because it was uneven. As we got into the room I couldn’t believe my eyes and how awful the room was there was mold in the kitchen and it just overall-smelled like rotting flesh and mold. The bedding was old and looked like it had bed bugs. The furniture looked overly used and deteriorated. We complained and nothing was done. I wanted to leave outta there as fast as I walked in. I would never recommend this place to anyone I don’t care how affordable this place is. Stay away. Check out pictures so you can see for yourself. I found a better hotel immediately thereafter.

Elevetor on a bad working shape must of times out of service - bathrooms with leaks on the floor coming out the toilet- no wi-fi in the rooms- breakfast really bad - in general the place is folling dawn-staff at the front desk is kind of rude
