Isaaya Hotel Boutique by WTC

Had a five night stay enjoyed very much. Very clean hotel and the rooms are very large with awesome lighting, internet speed is awesome, nice large flat screen and good access to AC plugs for your electronic devices. Staff is very friendly as well. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Mexico city which is directly across from the W.T.C.

The room and staff were great. Always clean and tidy, attention to detail. It was loud on the weekend nights between the honking cars outside and the club next door that was bumpin’… black out curtains did help with light and some noise, but kept us up one night for sure.

First the positive: 1. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. 2. Housekeeping did an excellent job each day. Unfortunately, however, the negative experiences predominated by far: 1. The air conditioning didn't work properly. As the hotel is located on a very busy and loud road an open window is not a good alternative either. 2. The coffee machine didn't work either, brewing cold coffee only, if at all. 3. I had to take cold showers as there was repeatedly no warm water. 4. The tv set offers only 2-3 foreign channels 5. The team working at front desc is not accommodating nor very friendly. 6. Furthermore, front desk was very often vacant. 7. Worst of all, however, the room keys were repeatedly malfunctioning! 8. Therefore, worst of all, I was locked out on the street twice during the night as the front door of the hotel was firmly locked as the room keys wouldn't open the door and front desk was vacant, mostly after 8 PM. Then I had to wait on the street till another hotel guest was leaving the property!

The hotel and staff are absolutely fantastic. However, I think it’s important to note that at the moment (June 2021) there is a ton of street noise and traffic going on due to vaccinations across the street. I was told this would continue all month. Not the hotel’s vault, but the loud honking and police whistles all throughout the early morning hindered my stay. Would recommend this place any other time!

Very nice boutique hotel, close to everything downtown. Rooms are large, new and comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and speak some English. I was here during the earthquake and everyone at the hotel was attentive and helpful throughout the ordeal. I will be staying here on any further trips to Mexico City.
