Rocamar Hotel Panoramico Isla Mujeres

It’s very close on the ocean and can be terrible loud at night when there is a storm. But the rest was all fine for a 2 star hotel. Rooms are only made on request and if you are lucky. Nothing much to be expected beside its very good location. Wi-Fi was super!

What an excellent little hotel . Great views , great location , excellent staff , very clean , excellent value would definitely stay here again .

Beware no wifi in rooms! Beware of bait and switch in services offered. If your a tourist expect lack of candor at this location. They say the "have", however do not "guaranite" as a paid in advance service.

Rocamar is an incredible hotel for a fantastic value. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is Room #16. We’ve stayed dozens of places on the island over the past decade and this was our first time to Rocamar. From purchase price, check in, the room (specifically Room #16), location, and checkout.. everything was PERFECT. AC was superior which is critical to have. Room was large with a great bed, balcony, and features inside. Closet space and hangers were greatly appreciated. Bathroom is large with curtains that you can open and close for privacy. Water pressure and temperature were right on target. You get two beach towels at check in - do not lose them. Thought we didn’t use the pool, it was beautiful and would be a lovely place to relax. You can hear the waves crashing at night and it’s lovely. Fresh cold water always located downstairs so just a few steps away from any room. Golf cart (5 spots) + scooter parking (4+ spots) is soooooo nice to have. We loved staying here and will be back in October. Thank you Rocamar!

We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay. The check in process was quick within 5-10 mins and we were given the quiet room type as requested when we booked which is great. Room is big and clean with amazing ocean view and come with your own private balcony and hammock. Shower water pressure and temperature were on point too. We were worried about the Wi-Fi due to the numerous complaints seen online but surprisingly it was great throughout our stay at the highest floor! Fresh drinking water located the lobby with hot drinks making facility and they also provide microwave which is a bonus. Location is very strategic as well, just get off the ferry pier then walk straight up the road and within 2 mins you will find Rocamar. Supermarket (Super Aki) is nearby too, within 1-2 mins walk only. So as the restaurants, laundry services and souvenir shops which were less than 5 mins walk. We would highly recommend this hotel. Con: They can improve on washing the towels, though cleaned but still stained.
