Riad Tanjil

We needed a hotel near the Casablanca airport due to an earlier flight. This small hotel was perfect due to the proximity and the free shuttle. The place had a lot of charm - walking the halls felt royal due to the grandeur, the space, and the outdoors.

Very nice Riad. Beautiful territory around the main house. Excellent dinner with excellent tagine. Nice clean rooms. They provide transportation from the Cablanca airport and also from the Riad to the airport any time of the day. We had to leave the Riad at 3am and the van was waiting for us to take us to airport. Excellent place to stay at night before departure from airport next morning. The Riad is located outside of the main populated areas but it has a nice territory with very good swimming pool.

This is a wonderful property to stay. It is on the outskirts of the airport, but on a very private setting. Very beautiful inside the hotel and they have a beautiful swimming pool. My host made a wonderful breakfast and they were very Pleasant and hospitable.

A True Gem in Casablanca – Perfect for a Layover! I recently stayed at Riad Tangil during a long layover in Casablanca, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their warmth and friendliness were truly remarkable and made the stay incredibly comfortable. The meals were simply outstanding. Dinner was a flavorful and authentic Moroccan experience, while breakfast the next morning was equally impressive, with fresh and delicious offerings that left me feeling energized for my journey. The riad itself is charming, peaceful, and full of character—an oasis in the bustling city. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into every detail, from the décor to the impeccable service. Riad Tangil is more than just a place to stay; it’s an experience of Moroccan hospitality at its finest. Whether you’re passing through for a layover or staying longer, this hidden gem is a must-visit. I can’t recommend it enough and hope to return someday!

Absolutely perfect stay! And great food!

The Riad is located approximately 15 drive from the airport. Claire arranged for a driver to pick us up from outside of the airport. The Riad is literally an oasis of green beauty with a gorgeous garden and pool complete with peacocks ! Our dinner and breakfast were delicious which was much appreciated after our flight. Our room and bathroom (with an excellent walk in shower)was incredibly spacious with a lovely balcony area to enjoy a drink and appreciate the beauty of the garden. The TV had multiple channels,some in English and their is a library of books to enjoy. Claire is a gracious and professional host who goes above and beyond in making her guests feel comfortable and rested. We will definitely be recommending Riad Tanjil to friends and family.

A very unique Moroccan experience! A very safe and relaxing environment. The food was superb! Note: breakfast as well as dinner is included... and the dinner was authentic Moroccan.

My stay began with being met at the airport by their driver. Dinner (chicken tagine) was ready for me when I wanted to eat. My room (#4) was large with two queen beds. The beds were extremely comfortable. Chickens and peacocks freely roam the premises.

I am so happy to have found this place. Kebir answered my inquiries immediately, via WhatsApp. Simo was there to pick me up, and Claire was very welcoming when I arrived. Dinner is included and was wonderful, with the traditional soup and tagine. The room was spacious, with a view of the pool and gardens. Breakfast included an assortment of Moroccan pastries. What a great find as my introduction to Morocco!

Claire was a very helpful host. The place is unique. There was peacocks and chickens outside the door. The food was delicious. Thank you for sharing your special place.

We loved this Riyad that is very close 3 km to the airport. The owner is an Australian woman and her Moroccan husband. Clean, quiet and exceptional family style dinner which is included. The grounds are magnificent. They have peacocks and other birds. Great for singles, couples or families.

We loved our stay- the staff was so friendly and helpful. They saved some dinner for us when we arrived late and helped arrange transportation to the train station the next morning. The riad was beautiful- calm and peaceful. We would recommend staying here!

We were greeted with mint tea and cookies. Our hostess and host checked with us frequently to see if they could offer anything to make our stay perfect. Our dinner was amazing. Unique experience with all the animals roaming freely. Pool and outdoor gardens to relax during our stay. Pick up and return to the airport provided by our host. Our room provided a green bed, air conditioning and a spacious bathroom. Our stay could not have been more perfect.

Clare and the staff were top-notch. The complementary dinner (chicken tajine) was terrific. The property was beautiful with plenty of animals - even peacocks. It’s the perfect place to stay if you’d like to be near the airport.

Very beautiful property, great food and impeccable service

The staff were kind and gracious. They picked us up at 2 am with no complaint- and drove us to the riad and checked in efficiently- very important when you’re severely jet legged. We also arranged with them for a ride to the train station- and again felt we were well cared for and safe.

Clean, quiet, spacious room. Nice folks that run the place.
