The team was so friendly and attentive, making me feel like a valued guest every moment. The duty manager, Purna deserves high praise for his helpfulness and attention. He is always available to address my questions and made sure every aspect of my stay was perfect. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to guest satisfaction. This hotel sets a high standard for service. The staff was incredibly attentive and always eager to help. They provided a warm and personal touch that made my trip unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place that values its guests, this is the one!

Hotel Barahi in Pokhara offers a fantastic stay overall, but our experience started on a stressful note. On the first night, we were woken up at 1 AM by incredibly loud water pipes that disrupted our sleep. With a 5-month-old baby, this caused a lot of stress as we tried to settle her back down. While reception did eventually resolve the issue, it took about 20 minutes, which felt like an eternity at that hour. That said, the rest of our stay was excellent. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the service was attentive and friendly. The hotel’s location is also unbeatable, with easy access to the lakeside and stunning views. Despite the rocky start, we enjoyed the rest of our time at Hotel Barahi, and we’d consider staying again. 4 out of 5 stars!

The service was excellent, the room was comfortable, and the club sandwich was delicious. I loved being able to try the different types of honey in the morning. We hosted a large event here, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. My bed was cozy, the internet reliable, and the breakfast waffles were tasty. The restaurant can get busy at times. I chose the dinner package but was surprised to find it was buffet-only. While the dinner buffet was underwhelming, breakfast was fantastic. Fortunately, they allowed me to order from a special set menu one evening. I also had a club sandwich with fries for lunch when I arrived, and it was great. The pool looked inviting, though we didn’t get the chance to use it. Overall, it’s a lovely property. However, I was a bit disappointed that there was no welcome note or snacks in the room, especially since we had just stayed at their sister property in the jungle. It would have been nice to be acknowledged for our loyalty to the brand. I also booked a deluxe room but it looked the same as all is the rooms. The location is very central, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Overall not a bad stay and I would certainly stay there again during a future visit.

To start, credit where it is due, the staff were excellent. The room was well appointed and clean enough, though not up to 5-star standards. Unfortunately they decided to continue construction in the building they had provided us with all day, making any form of rest impossible. Overnight a loose waterpipe was similarly noisy making rest near impossible across the board. Ultimately chose to move hotels.
