This is a good hotel in a convenient location within driving distance of many options. Parking is easy, the staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quiet and well stocked. The only negative was the bathroom was a little small with a small sink and tight shower. Otherwise everything was fine. I would return here if I were to stay in the Breda area in the future.
While there, I suggest having dinner at Loetje Breda. The restaurant is pretty, the service is very good and the food is excellent. It is a short drive from the hotel.

We have stayed four times at the Bastion Hote at Prinsenbeek, Breda during the Jazz Festival Weekend. Although it is situated away from the centre the transport links are excellent. There is a bus service and the train station is a very short walk from the hotel.

I stayed here 10 days. At first I was not sure of the quality of this hotel. Quickly I found the property very charming. The staff is awesome and very accommodating.
The rooms are a touch small at less the 200 square feet. Yet for a single person they are quite cozy for 2 it seems a bit small when you have 2 single beds.
The property does have breakfast. Bread, fruit, meat cheese and made to order eggs and plenty of vegetables. Honestly it's best to add breakfast at booking of the room otherwise it's a touch on the high side. Add it at booking and it's a great deal.
They do have a inside smoking room with a pool table. A vending machine for tobacco snacks and beer. Not one of the highest perks but handy if you desire such.
Overall for staying in Breda it's a great hotel near a train stop and about 5 minutes to Breda town center. A must see town.

Room was outdated, heating didn't work, put the air-conditioning to 26 degree and it still showed only 19 degrees on the display in the room, but felt like 10 degrees!

The person at the front desk who checked us in was great. The building was being renovated and she had to see if our room was ready at 8 pm. Not acceptable. Our halllway was an absolute mess upon arrival. Very dusconcerting. Made me feel very uncomfortable and uneasy.

The room was clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but great for a 1night stay, the free welcome drink was a really nice touch, the staff were very helpful they gave us coffee and a croissant even though we had missed breakfast

Good hotel. Rooms big & clean. Staff all good. Only downside is location is isolated so no restaurants/bars nearby but train station only couple minutes walk & 5 mins to Breda or 20 to Dordrecht & both towns have plenty restaurants/bars & shopping.
