Advertised as 4 star, but inside room evac.plan says 3 star . In reality a 3 star bar and restaurant and 2 star rooms. Rooms tired, i.e. walls dirty, wallpaper peeling, furnishings old, badly scratched, cobwebs, broken window fastening, mould in bathroom, shower eithef too hot or cold, toiletries (only soap dispenser) cheap. Bar closed before 2200hrs (staff said as only 4 customers it was pointless staying open) and would only offer beer, wine or tea after 2145hrs. When we made comment to staff that a true 4 star should offer 4 star service, we were told we should not expect more than we got for the price we had been charged (over 60 euro). Staff were arrogant, argumentative. Evening meal of cod had a fillet the size of a fish finger and my ladies schnitzel was overcooked ... and both meals overpriced based on quantity and quality Another guest couple (from Belgium) who have a goal of visiting every Fletchers, having stayed in 23 locations to date, informed us that this locale was one of their worst experiences todate.

Breakfast doesn't open till about 7:30. Most mornings I had to leave before it was open.

Easy to find and free parking. very good food and friendly staff who spoke very good English.Even though the hotel is by a main road we did not get disturbed by traffic noise at night. We were close to the German border here so we popped across in the morning to do some food and wine shopping in the Kaufland supermarket in Straelen as shopping in Holland is a lot more expensive. We managed to get fuel in Germany before we hit the motorway - its about 1 euro 33 as opposed to 1.49 or even 1.55 as you approach Calais

A quaint place to stay. Enjoyed the restaurant patio and lounge. Friendly accommodating staff.

17km from the airport, clean bathroom and room, a little bit old and requiring some maintenance. Good cost/benefit. Very friendly staff!

The hotel needs a lot of TLC! It's cheap price is reflected in what you get. It does have good wifi and warm bedrooms. The restaurant is poor; don't drink the draught beer, your room is stripped to the absolute basics and it's like escaping from Fort Knox if you try and leave at 6.30am. Hotel and reception closed, no night porter and exit without checking out by a poorly signed back door

Good place to stay for an early flight out of weeze. If you are returning a rental car fill the tank before getting to the hotel. From the hotel to the airport there are no gas stations. Nice country roads.

As a hotel I was very disappointed. The rooms were very dated and in need of a major overhaul. Parking was limited and difficult to find a space. The restaurant in the hotel was good and busy with locals as well as hotel guests. Although I ordered a second drink that never arrived but charged for on the bill. Overall 5/10

Friendly staff, not a lot of parking space, downstairs looks really nice but the upstairs doesn't match. Bedroom was very minimal with only really a small tv and no kettle or anything. Breakfast was ok but rather expensive and dinner was very nice. No comfortable seating in the bedroom either. OK place for the money but would prefer a bit more. Also nothing of worth visiting nearby in the area.

Could of done with a kettle in the rooms for tea/coffee

Price was alright for the standards provided. Evening meal was nice, breakfast was very nice and staff were excellent.

It served our purposes beautifully. Good food, clean room. Room a little small, bed too soft. Nice people.

Gebouw is op sommige plekken verouderd. De kamer zelf is prima en badkamer is net vernieuwd. Personeel is vriendelijk en enthousiast. Kamer is klein maar prima voor één overnachting. De onmiddellijke omgeving van het hotel is niet fantastisch, vlak aan een doorgaande weg. Ontbijt en diner zijn goed.

De kamer was prima. Jammer genoeg stond erbij dat ik een ontbijt zou krijgen. Helaas kreeg ik hier na afloop alsnog een rekening van.

Lekker geslapen

Prima ontvangst. We werden vooraf gebeld hoe laat wij zouden arriveren, voor of na 'de wedstrijd '. Geen op- of aanmerkingen aan ons verblijf.

Het hotel was slecht onderhouden. Vieze inloopmat bij de ingang, spinnenwebben bij de deur, de entree was smoezelig verouderd en sober. De lift was verouderd en vies, de vloerbedekking op de gangen vol vlekken, beschadigd en viea stoffig langs de plnten. Eenmaal op de kamer (13) waren we onaangenaam verrast. Het rook er muf, vieze vloerbedekking vol met vlekken, grijs langs de randen van het stof, een scheur van boven tot onder in de vitrage, het kozijn van het raam wat open kon, was verrot. Tot overmaat van ra mp zaten er vette aangekoekte hoofdafdrukken op het hoofdeinde van het bed. Prijs-kwaliteit niet in verhouding. Nadat we ons beklag hadden gedaan bij de receptie, was de enige mogelijkheid die we aangeboden kregen een nieuwe kamer uitkiezen. Kamer 8 was nog even stoffig, verouderd en maakte nog steeds een vieze indruk; maar gelukkig geen ‘herinneringen’ aan vorige bezoekers van de kamer, geen scheur in het gordijn of een verrot kozijn. Al met al een bedroevende ervaring. Personeel aan de balie gebruikte corona als excuus. Hierdoor was prijs-kwaliteit volgens haar scheefgegroeid. En waren er voor het Fletcherconcern onvoldoende inkomsten om het hotel te renoveren. Al met al een zeer bedroevende ervaring. Wij zullen nooit meer bij een Fletcher hotel gaan boeken. Te meer omdat we van andere mensen in onze kennissenkring nu ook negatieve verhalen over Fletcher horen.
