Holiday Inn Express AMSTERDAM - NORTH RIVERSIDE, an IHG Hotel

Loved this hotel everything was great including the breakfast. The only downside is that there is not too much around the hotel but there is a good supermarket that sells hot food. There is a very good ferry service to the main city centre that runs every 6-10 minutes 24 hours per day. Would definitely stay here again.

A littler far of the center. Clean is OK but can be better. But in general the hotel was great and the breakfast incredible!!

This properly is beyond my expectations. I am glad I found it.

It was an excellent stay at the hotel. Everything was convenient for me. There was a supermarket in walking distance; actually there were two supermarkets. The hotel had a small market shop where you could buy drinks and snack. The staff were nice. The place was clean. The hotel had a restaurant and the food was great, especially the burger. Overall, it was an excellent stay.

I was staying there for a conference across the street so it was convenient. Within walking distance to the metro.

Great staff and breakfast

An amazing and beautiful hotel to stay with good breakfast and welcoming staff. The only turn off for me as a fitness enthusiast is that the hotel has no gym or fitness center.

It was good but shower’s half door leaking water out side! Unpleasant standing on a cold wet towel.

Le séjour était génial. La chambre était très propre, le petit-déjeuner était excellent, mes employé de l'hôtel sont toujours aux petits soins, ils ont même pensé à mettre un lit et une gamelle pour notre chien. Petit bémol il est impossible d'aérer la chambre, ce qui est très dommage.

The stay was lovely

they cancelled my reservation, got excuses to tell me it was the agency who did it, while it was their assistant manager. throughout the stay, they did the same thing to one of my colleagues, they missed a room service, plus on the last day the hot water broke around 7pm, and they didn't get it fixed until 10am the following day - forcing me to take a freezing shower before leaving. cherry on the cake was the elevator which broke leaving over 13 floors and a fully booked hotel with one elevator, meaning took 20minutes to get to ground floor. go spend your money somewhere else!

Great location, 12min walk from centraal station Pop on and off boat taxi and a short stroll through a small neighbourhood.

I like the location, it was easy to park a car (a little pricy €30) and supermarket across the street.

We enjoy a beautiful view from window in our 14th floor room. The room is large and comfortable. The breakfast is variety for choice. It’s a nice and quiet neighborhood with a food market right beside.

The check in was polite and swift but after that our stay went downhill. The hotel was too hot, the rooms were hot, you could only adjust the temperature by 3 degrees and that wasn’t working. No windows you could open to let fresh air in. At breakfast on our first morning there were too few staff. No cups or glasses available for most of our time in the restaurant. Bland food. We tried the hotel bar but were met by a new employee who didn’t know anything, had no training, couldn’t find his manager and disappeared every time his pager went off. The hotel has a car park but even if you’re staying as a guest it’s an extra €30 per day! Just a rip off. It’s a shame the hotel was so bad as it was in a great location.
