We stayed at De Plataan in May-June, while celebrating our wedding in Delft. The staff was very kind, professional and accommodating, and it was a truly wonderful and romantic experience in one of the theme rooms.
Some of our guests stayed there too and we all really enjoyed it!

Super friendly and warm and attentive staff, great location (are there any bad location in Delft though? Such a lovely town). Attached to the Gaia restaurant, they had a special oysters event on that Sunday, delicious!
Some quirks of the hotel that make it unique: the family room we booked only has partial walls with the bathroom, you'd better be very close as a family :) The elevator fits 1-2 ppl max and is slower than climbing the stairs, the kids had fun racing us to the second floor.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was quirky with its botanic theme, and comfortable. It's situated on a lively green square with cafe tables under the trees, so a great atmosphere and nice people-watching.

I loved this place. The rooms are outstanding, also the breakfast was really good. It is very near to the city centre, only 3-4 minutes by walk.

Previously had a really good stay here. Stayed recently and very different. We booked months in advance. The hotel failed to tell us they had arranfed a big party to celebrate renovation with DJ and 100 plus guests. When we complained at half past midnight and suggested one night refund we were only offered discount and told by a manager to check out NOW ( 12.30am!)if we wanted a refund. During the party fire doors between the bar and stairwell to rooms were wedged open with partygoers on the stairs. We think as well as the disturbance ( noise carried worse because of this) it also compromised security and fire safety.
The hotel said they would have a management meeting about our concerns - we have heard nothing and have had neither refund or any discount or feedback on issues.
