The Perfect hotel to be in when visiting Rotterdam

The breakfast was the same options everyday. While the continental breakfast had a good range, the English hot breakfast range was limited. The bar closed too early. However, transport was very good. Both tram and Metro stops at the hotel and only 5 mins away from Rotterdam Centrael.

Very nice property located close to city centre, water taxis, public transport and cruise port. Comfortable beds, clean with bathroom on steroids (waterfront room) with Sauna and jacuzzi bath. Little counter space however. Great views from waterfront room but higher floor recommended. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff pleasant. Price was reasonable.

Great hotel - great rooms - great amenities. The only criticism is that during our stay, the rooms were not cleaned properly. One of the day we had to call the staff to tell them to come clean the room although we had the sign “please clean” the whole day. However, the room were very clean at check-in.

I really loved the hotel and after seeing the photos and in real life they are exactly alike. The only thing I would say is not as good was the front desk. I came in at 10:30 AM and the lady literally said there is no rooms ready and that I would have to wait till 3 PM. She just didn’t even want me to give my information or anything. Usually hotels will just ask for our passports and then check our bookings first. But this one did not do that. It just seemed like she didn’t want to do any work in the morning. Overall that gave me a little unhappiness about booking three rooms for my friends to stay here. We also booked the ones with a sauna room inside each hotel room. It was a personalized one that you can sit in. That was nice though!

We liked the hotel overall but were inconvenienced because they have no ports for charging in the rooms. I carry a lot of european adapters with me but none would fit the outlets. They had no loaners but did have adapters for sale for 25 Euros. Otherwise the service was good and the restruarant had good food.

It’s not a five star property. There were people drinking outside the property and noise throughout the night.

Excellent property in great location. Accessible to multiple shops, restaurants, and sights. Morning breakfast is also great. Highly recommended and would book again!!

We liked everything about the hotel, location, room size, cleanliness, helpful staff. One recommendation: We felt the lighting in the room and floor hallways was little dim. In the room we needed a choice of more brighter lights.

This remains a great hotel - well positioned and for those who enjoy industrial views, it is amazingly situated for the old port .. a bit like Bristol. People are always wary of hotel restaurants, but the bar and restaurant are serviced by an amazing crew and the quality of the food as always in Holland is exemplary .. thanks to the hard work of the often overlooked farmers!

We had sauna and hot tub in our room. Washlet our suite, most excellent. Pool and dry sauna, with a gym.

The metro station is outside the hotel, which is very convenient if you are taking public transport and have heavy luggage. You can access the hotel as soon as you step out of the escalator. The hotel is clean, and the staff were ok. The pool was closed on the morning of 31st May 2024 around 0932, but there was no notice in the pool area. I tried to ring the receptionist, but the line was busy. I went back three times, hoping I could find a staff to talk to, but unfortunately, every time I went back to the pool area, no one was there. I informed the receptionist when I checked out, and she informed me that it was closed due to a high level of chlorine and that it was for our safety. The pool should be checked before 6 am and ready for the guest to use as it is open from 0600 to 2300 daily to avoid disappointment.

Clean, nice hotel with amazing staff!

The pic on Expedia showed a round hot tub in the main part of the room. It was a bait and switch!! A rectangular tub is in the bathroom. The person at the check in desk said this happens a lot. Expedia is showing the wrong room for the price. The TV doesn't work either. They replaced the remote contol and it did not fix anything. Staff is very slow to respond to anything. Not much food offered for room service either. The duvet was waaay to heavy/hot for this time of year. No light bed covering options available in the room. Very disappointed.

The hotel requested deposit from your credit card above the room daily rate as kind of guarantee and it looks that it takes time to process the refund Which is unusual ?
