Please try this for a stay in Amsterdam, great location just outside the city (only 4 bus stops away) but so much nicer than the busy-ness of the city centre.

The hotel and facilities was excellent. The staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast and our evening meal was delicious. The room and the views exceeded our expectations. Using the hotel bikes to get around was great fun and quicker than walking. The area around the hotel was quiet and felt safe. The bus was a short journey from Centraal Station and there was a good frequency of services. Overall, a fantastic stay at the July.

We really enjoyed being by the water and layout of our room, which included a kitchenette and separate seating area. The staff were all excellent as well. It’s about a 15-20 min walk to the downtown core, so if you prefer to step right out of your lobby into the hub, it may not be for you, but we found the location perfect. It gave us the opportunity to see the Amsterdam port in action, watch the barges, there was an extensive walking/cycling trail system right outside our door, and it has a great waterfront patio.

The room was a perfect size for a couple. Kitchen was fully stocked with whatever your needs. The view was amazing from our studio. We stayed here for 5 days and they have a laundry facility which was a plus! Just wished there was a balcony. We would stay here again. It's quite a walk to Amsterdam Centraal station.

Rooms and general hotel facilities are in very good condition and clean. Location is good but lacks services nearby, a bit isolated. Staff and service were poor, they just seemed largely ambivalent. One evening the staff just quit serving drinks well before closing and went and sat together on the patio. Server never came back and the bill charged to room wasn’t even ours?!

Mostly good. Clean. Friendly. Had a laundry room. Great view of canal and boats. But, was expensive and distance from food, shopping, tours, train and etc. When we arrived, we couldn’t find the front door due to construction and there was no sign on the door to direct you. Noticed others having the same confusion. The window seat had buttons that hurt badly if your knee or rump happened upon one. The couch pillows felt like a needle pricking when a feather managed to poke its way out. We had 1 coffee cup to share. No dishcloth or washcloths.

Hotel is a beautiful piece of construction. Rooms and atrium are elegant. Entrace is a bit wonky given rest of structure. New area so very quit but not far from city. Super peaceful to be around harbor are in morning. Best choco moose ever.

This was our first time in Amsterdam and The July was the perfect place to stay! The lobby, restaurant, and our room were all gorgeous. We loved sitting outside for breakfast and looking out onto the water. All of the staff were wonderful and helpful to us. Dam Square and Centraal Station were about a 30 minute walk away from The July, which was perfectly convenient for us. We enjoyed being just a little outside of city center so we could enjoy the peaceful and quiet side of Amsterdam, while also being close enough city center. When we go back to Amsterdam, we will certainly be staying here again.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The room setup is cute and cozy. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had in a hotel. ingredients really fresh and well prepared. The property is a little out of the way but I enjoyed walking through the neighborhoods and seeing how locals live their lives. Also it is new and so everything is in excellent condition. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Look forward to staying here again.

The hotel was very clean, excellent costumer service, the only downside is that is a little far from central station like 45 minutes walk, we would take Uber most days, but if you decided to walk is safe also. The restaurant inside the hotel was not that good for us either, not many other options to eat near, the market is close so we decided to cook breakfast every morning ourselves. Overall good stay.

Amazing location in the newer part of Amsterdam.
Free bike rentals. Excellent breakfast and dinner options. Room was fantastic with separate bedrooms and bathrooms and a full kitchen. Friendly and talented staff throughout. One of the best experiences I had on my recent trip throughout Europe.
