After traveling for 3 weeks in France, it was nice to stay at this very nice hotel near Zwolle. We liked the very clean and organized large room with clean decor lines.
No stupid nicknacks hanging on the wall or standing on the table. Nice leather chairs, A full coffee bar, full size towels, a large bathtub and a great breakfast buffet made it the best hotel we stayed in in three weeks of traveling.

The hotel was very nice and had all the amenities that you need. However I was not impressed that although my room was supposed to be a double bed, it was 2 singles pushed together, I can cope with that however having two single quilt covers is a bit too far.

a) cost of the room per night 120€.
b) The hotel claims to be a 4 stars
Review: we arrived at 10pm. We dealt with a young lady unable to speak English. She kept saying: “You need to book your breakfast now, to put it on the card”.
I don’t want to book any breakfast. If I want it tomorrow, ill pay for it.

The day after, I had a conference call. Got to my room and try to call the number. No line.
Rushed to the reception and another lady tells me to try again.
Pointing out that I am able to use a phone, she suggests: “can you postpone the conference call?”
I wish I had a camera to record this suggestion.
Politely, I requested another room, from where I could not get into the conference call.
Great job Van der Valk.
Please send your staff back to the primary school.
