Ascot Epsom Motel

The Ascot is pretty run down but adequate for a nights stay for a concert at Eden Park close by. The lady at the counter was lovely.

The staff was amazing , pictures was better than what it was but all round it is definitely okay

Staff at reception were very supportive. Rooms were spacious, however upon arrival room cleaniness was an issue but was attended to quickly after complaining. Ascot needs to concentrate on cleaniness and probably have a thorough inspections of their rooms before the guests checkin. Don't let guests pick up on matters that can be attended to before their checkin.

Old property, needs a revamp, sounded like rats running in ceiling, the jioning doors allow all the sounds and voices through. Staff were wonderful, was cheap to stay in but would not go back . It was clean but furnitures and fittings worn and tatty. Sorry would not go back .

Was very comfortable to stay at. Loved the cooking facilities

Booked last minute and the guy on reception was really good rang too check what time i was arriving as was a late booking room was great for price

Fantastic location! Was not as noisy as I had expected. Lovely staff who were very helpful. The property was tired, but the beds were super comfy. We were only there for 1 night so we didn't need anything more

The property was dirty and very run down. This is very over priced. I would not recommend staying here.

Upon arriving you tell the room hadn’t been vacuumed, there was a ball of used chewing gum on the power point between the beds and toilet had paper floating in it. The air conditioner remote didn’t operate the aircon so we had to sleep with the balcony door open as the room was incredibly hot and humid which also let in the noise from traffic etc…. Would I go back hell no!!!

Excellent location. Train 5 min away. Walk to town 15 min. Room was spotless and beds very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Will probably look to stay there again soon.

Staff are great, and it was clean. Rooms are getting tired, could do with a makeover but price is reflective.

This is easily the worst place I have stayed. The property was dirty with splashed coffee and sauce on the walls around the kitchen and hair ties from a previous guest on the ledge in the bathroom. The building itself is in need of major repairs with broken outdoor steps which was a hazard to my children and all the latches on the windows were broken meaning they didn't close so we couldn't drown out the sound of the motorway. The floors were also filthy and left our feet black after walking barefoot. The pictures online of this place are clearly years old as the place is in need of a coat of paint and gardening. The beds were also very uncomfortable, the saving grace was the sheets were clean. Unfortunately we weren't provided with duvets and instead were given some cheap fake wool blankets that are past their prime. I was cold and didn't sleep much. There was also a real lack of furniture. No bed side tables, lamps, art , couch nothing ... Just a large room with a bed. Ultimately it was a real let down and I definitely think whomever the owner is needs to look at investing in some upkeep and improvements.

Everything xthat was needed was there for an overnight stay. Would have been nice to have a little milk provided for coffee. Although the bathroom was fine, the shower pan will need attending to at some point as the shower pan is depressed in one corner, like the floor has rotted / gone underneath. There is no bounciness so is stable and safe but a little disconcerting.

For the money we couldn't complain. New floors and paint. Some slightly shabby joinery but who cares. All in all very good value and nice enough. Quiet, helpful welcoming staff.

Get what you paid for, no soap or shampoo/conditioner in rooms, had to go purchase own soap, shower leaking from pipes in the ceilings. Unable to report this to office when returning keys became reception was unattended

Lovely staff, shocking property no hot water on day 2 of the stay, stairs cracking and loose very unsafe, smoke detector just sitting on the bench, checked out 2 days early

Liked the beds, cleanliness, location. Didn't like: TV signal poor, noise, bathroom let the place down due to paint coming off, no handle on one of the windows, looked like someone had DIYed the bathroom in places

Staff was very accommodating.. Nice and roomy the room.
