AWESOME staff members, clean comfortable room, my son loved the heated pool and i loved the spa! My partner liked the gym and the bar was a nice added bonus after a long day out and about. Perfect spot to relax yet so close to all the activities we had planned. Would definitely stay here again. Highly reccomend.

Really liked the staff they were cheerful and really helpful the room was perfect for us and we really struggle with beds waking up with stiff backs but that wasn’t the case at Copthorne Rotorua. Thank you staff and Copthorne.

Good location and overall, a good hotel for a night or 2. Rooms and pool need repairs and maintenance. Need more staff onsite. The person who served us was great but just too much for one person to do everything. Pool tiles and surrounding need urgent repairs but a nice size and heated pool.

I was required two room next to each other but we end up getting another room on the 1st floor and another room on the 4th floor. I was booking two room together but then seem like the reception have no idea give me only 1 room then I have to ask her again for another room and haven’t tell us much about welcome to hotel when we check in. Also we need to be careful the lift door. It suddenly close and take my daughter up by herself and almost close on my arm when I try to get in. We press the botton to keep it open but it wasn’t working. But overall the room are great and the cleaning staffs are friendly.

Spa was dirty - green and smelly. Unsure how often they change the water.
No parking for in house guests when a function is on
Not maintained, needs a revamp and a good clean up.
Arrived at 2.30pm and staff had to check if it had been cleaned for check in. Manager tried and was lovely.
Elevators always seemed held up by cleaners bringing their trolleys up and down.
Such a shame it’s not as professional as other hotels,
Would not stay again.

24 hr reception but nobody at counter at 5 pmish and no bell to summons someone, after waiting 5 minutes or so I called out.
The room itself was comfortable and reasonably clean. Long hair on floor in the bathroom.
Not sure why some hotels stuff 2 pillows into one pillow protector and try to pass it off as a new one. These are bulky, burst out of their pillow slips and look like exactly what they are. Not a good look in hotels that consider themselves upmarket.
Despite my minor irritations we would stay here again.
