Fiordland Great Views Holiday Park

Excellent bed, warm room. Was not serviced daily (only had rubbish bin emptied daily, no replacementof tea towel/cloth). 6 T-bags & 4 coffee sachets for 2 people for 3 days. INSUFFICIENT 1 shampoo ( no conditioner), 1 small soap in the bathroom.

Great place amazing views. Not to far to drive back into te anau.

I have stayed at many holiday parks over my 53 years, but the toilets and showers here are easily the cleanest and best maintained that I have ever seen. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended this place. The only improvement I would make is some running water in the cabins.

The listing does not say that you need towels, so had to make a special trip into town to buy some. There is not sink/water in the room and you are expected to do the dishes which is about 1/2 km carrying dirty dishes, tea towel soap and cloth, then bring it back clean ( the dishes were dirty on arrival ). The tiny fridge froze all our food, destroying it. The heater in the room is a small foot heater, not really a room heater. The mattress on the bed was very thin, like one from a fold out couch bed. The location was so far out of town it was on the 100km zone. The WiFi was so speed limited, it was like a dial up connection. On arrival the gate was closed, so had to ring a number, but no one answered, so just had to come back later. I would advise to stay away from this place. The only thing that is good is the SHARED showers and toilets.

Really wonderful stay, clean, safe campsite with all amenities and a beautiful view!

Staff treated me like dumb tourists check in was difficult site under construction. Laundry bldg not labeled area I was not supposed be in was not clearly a red cone is same as not trespassing.

No running water or toilet in the room; had to walk 1/2 block to the building housing the toilets & showers. As well, room had a way to boilet water but no coffee or tea was provided. Entry into the grounds was difficult after hours (what defines "after hours" unless you had a phone; i did but was having problems dialling long distance. Luckily i came across another customer of whom i could use his phone to contact the owner/operator to find out how to get my key etc

Great place to stay. Price was reasonable. Bathrooms/showers are kept really clean. Property is well kept & has a beautiful view in a good location. Staff member I dealt with was friendly & helped me with a few things on different occasions. Laundry on site was a bonus! Would definitely stay here again.

Small room, but warm 😊

Fully equipped and spacious accommodation. However no daily service which I didn’t mind. Location is less than 5 minute drive to main Te Anau town where the shops and restaurants are.

This property was very clean and well kept. The check-in process was easy and quick and the room was ready. There were just two things that were missing. The heater/ac was not working properly in the room. There were no instructions and it was confusing to figure out the remote. The second thing is that there was no knife available. The room only had butter knives and then the kitchen did not have any cutlery either. It would have been nice to cut my carrots with something sharper than a butter knife!
