Pacific Rendezvous

A very nice property with incredible ocean views from both the living and bedroom. A swimming pool, hot tubs, one private hot tub. Even a lounge with recreation and ping pong table. Both of the staff were very pleasant, accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend and will return again in the future

Such a wonderful place! The location and view were absolutely amazing! The staff were helpful and kind. We would have loved to stay longer if we didn’t have other plans. This place is truly a gem!

This property exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The view from our room was breathtaking, and we enjoyed watching the sunrise from bed every morning. The owners are lovely and truly make you feel at home. The marina and restaurant are conveniently located and there is plenty to do for a wonderful stay.

Location, location, location. It's hard to beat this property for ocean views. The property itself is older style, and being older ourselves, we weren't fond of the balcony bedroom in our unit. There are few food options at the Rendezvous, but there are a few good ones in town. OVerall a good, if brief, stay.

Meticulous. Superior

Stayed here for two nights in Feb – specifically due to the vicinity of Dive Tutukaka. Ian helped me at check-in and was extremely friendly and helpful! He provided a local map and details on the area, hikes, restaurants, etc. There is a small store connected to the reception desk to purchase snacks, beverages, etc. You can also rent a beach towel if needed. The place is very cozy and clean. I stayed in a studio, which has ocean views from the back patio on the main level and the bedroom upstairs. The units are self-accommodating. The unit does have wifi although it continuously cut in and out for me. The unit I stayed in had AC on the main level but not upstairs, which was exceptionally hot. Location-wise – it’s pretty secluded and VERY relaxing and quiet. In that aspect, I’d give it 10 stars. On the other end of the spectrum, it is not walkable if you want to be within walking distance of a shops/stores, etc. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe. There are 2 ocean hikes/beaches that are private to Pacific Rendezvous – Harbour Beach and Ocean Beach. Whale Bay and Matapouri Bay are a short drive away. There is an onsite pool, playground area, tennis court, game room, laundry room, etc. With the AC, I'd probably give it 4.5 stars but that's not an option so rounding up. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay again. The views and ocean sounds are the absolute best if you are looking for some quiet and relaxation.

Incredible property with amazing views and two private beaches to walk to from the property. Pool and two hot tubs were great, tennis courts were fun to use with complimentary racquets and balls. Hosts were super friendly and helpful.
