The staff at Palm City Motel in Napier were very nice and very accommodating. Unfortunately the room we were in had an odd and unpleasant smell and the main room only had very bright ceiling lights. Not the most comfortable room.

Good location, the fridge froze our food which was very frustrating and the shower pressure was low. I have stayed here a few times before and it was much better.

The receptionist was really nice, otherwise the room smelled like a funeral home, looked like it was built 50 years ago, a few bugs here and there and the bed was super uncomfortable. Positive points for extra blankets. I paid way too much money for what I got.

Can hear a lot of noise from the guests next door can hear people going up and down the stairs
The wifi hardly worked
