Possum Lodge

We liked the self contained cabin while participating the Medford Sound guided tour from Te Anau. The cabin is rustic but the host keeps it clean.

Clean but very old, bed very comfy, quiet. Sadly only two small relaxing chairs not particularly comfy. Unfortunately there was a very strong curry smell which was not pleasant, we appreciate not the managers fault but other places have a sign saying do not cook fish, curry etc which this place needs.

The most beautiful place to stay in Fiordland. Cute retro cabin with great kitchen and bathroom. On the lake. Great walks around the area and easy walk to Real NZ port for boat to Doubtful Sound. Host Henry and his family were really friendly snd helpful - great experience visiting Possum Lodge

Iconic bit of Old New Zealand holiday accommodation. Loved it.

Property was old but clean and tidy with a classic retro feel.

Clean, comfortable and responsive host.

Henry went out of his way to help us. He knew the local attractions and their costs in his head. This is a fantastic place for families with a games room, lounge and kitchen facilities. Next time we go to Manapouri, we will definitely stay here.

Henry was amazing and showed us around the lodge! It's located near the water with wonderful views (and kayaks!), and a great outdoor fireplace. I wish we had gotten to stay longer!

This place is everything to everybody. We stayed in a cabin which was away from the young campers and very quiet, but for a small place with a lot of people in it, it's very chilled. Awesome location to spend some time too. .

Loved the little self contained hut. Had fun with the entertainment area. Table tennis and table top soccer. Did a book swap.

Super bien situé, plage privée à 20 mètres, perdu dans les bois (route non goudronnée pour vernir). Super accueil, patron absolument adorable et très disponible. Appartement très bien équipé, mais vieillot au point de vu des sanitaires.

Schöne Unterkunft, gut gelegen für Ausflüge Doubtful Sound. Die Unterkunft ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dennoch war alles sehr sauber.

一通りそろっています。チェックインの時にコーヒーのミルクはいるか聞かれて、ミルクポットを渡されました。心遣いが嬉しく、もっと滞在したかったです。素敵な宿でした！
