The property was perfect for a small family with a nice living area, small kitchen and a beautiful patio overlooking the channel. The outdoors, the beach and the restaurant were really good. However, there was a constant pungent smell in the room which refused to go away even after keeping the doors open and spraying a lot of room freshener. If not for the smell, this property would be perfect to stay in Rotorua.
Note that the smell is not the Rotorua smell that everyone complains about. The property is way up north that outdoors is very good. Also, it takes a good 15 minutes to go to the town from the property.

A very nice resort. The kids loved the activities. The food in the onsite restaurant was lovely too. We are thinking of coming back again but staying for much longer.
