We loved the pool area and wonderful landscaped areas. Staff were helpful and room was great. Buffet breakfast the next day was a highlight, we are looking forward to staying here again.

A very standard hotel out of the town centre in an area with few eating possibilities. Staff were pleasant, the room was clean. Nothing really wrong, just lacked ambience and was obviously popular with families.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, check in was quick and easy. Booked in at Marbles restaurant at 5:30pm and it was packed. So many people i wouldnt recommend going at 5:30. The food was great, wasnt able to try all the foods as there was just too much people.

Loved the swimming pool and spa. Staff were friendly. The only down side was the limited parking spaces - had a hard time finding a spot!

Good value for the room amenities, but the parking situation needs to be fixed. With it taking 3 or more passes and waiting long periods for a spot to open up, we ended up using Uber instead of our rental car because we feared that we'd not be able to get a spot to park later at night. There are way too few available spots for the number of rooms rented out.
So it literally cost us over $30 in Uber fees to visit the free Festival of Lights which raises the overall cost of staying here.

Modern facilities, clean room. The beds were very soft. There was limited free parking but it was generally possible to get a space. Convenient to walk into town and to the beach.
The pool was nice and a good temperature, although the water was very cloudy.

Lovely pool, it got quite busy when we were there though. Room lovely, spacious and comfortable beds, lovely bedding. Reception gave us great advice for parking to see the Pukekura lights.
