Bathroom facilities are really good, the hostel provides even shower gel and shampoo and a fluffy white towel. Very friendly staff and clean facilities. Kitchen well equipped and tidy

Trek Global Backpackers was the perfect stay for me, everything was clean, the noise level was great and it had a great chilled, social atmosphere. Will definitely be staying here next time I'm around the Wellington area.

Incredibly helpful and genuine staff who were always happy to help - very knowledgeable about the area and always on hand to answer questions.
Nice schedule of events each evening (which isnt for me but was again very welcome and i can really see how some guests would really appreciate it.
Slight disparity of kitchen facilities available when comparing ground floor to others. Cant be helped though - i imagine things get moved all the time.
All in all, a great stay for the price for which you do get more than you pay for in terms of assistance and a nice communal hub

Showers - amazing
Even though they aren't dragons at all, everyone was very respectful re: noise at night.

Great price for an easy stay. Lovely place the staffs are very friendly and all the guests are friendly and polite, the place is tidy and safe. We had the private ensuite room, small but offered everything we needed. It was a little bit noisy as the room is near laundry and kitchen but we were good sleepers so no border. Definitely recommend it.

The room was very small and stuffy, there was only space for the bunks and a shelving unit/cupboard which was broken so I was not able to secure my belongings. It was a little inconvenient with the stairs and the location of the amenities, but otherwise it was a nice place and certainly perfect for backpackers. The male who served me was very nice & friendly.

We have a very bad experience staying there this time, it was too nosy from the neighbours and in general the crowd was in their 20th. So I wouldn’t recommend it if you need some quiet time.
