We were a late check in and it went very smoothly. The lady at Elsie’s Restaurant and Bar got us sorted easily. The room was very clean and well appointed. I would highly recommend a stay here

A great little gem. We were going to a local party, so stayed. The kind staff opened up the bar and restaurant earlier on Sunday morning so we could watch a rugby test… yummy breakfast too!

I had the really small room. I knew it was going to be tiny when I booked it. All good. The bathroom was a good size. The thing i appreciated was attention to detail, I needed for nothing. They even had actual coffee grounds and a press, which I'm realizing in NZ is the norm. All other hotels I've stayed at here only have instant coffee.
They had fresh milk and cookies ( bag). The room was super clean. I ordered the lamb dinner at the pub, super good!!

As it was Xmas I presume the staff were on leave and so the rubbish etc weren’t emptied and there wasn’t anything like bins available so we could dispose of them I guess it’s why our room was invaded with ants luckily it was only in the kitchen walls and floor and kitchen top while there was tea coffee available no milk offered and supply was only for one day else beds were comfy slept soundly and clean facilities

A latish checkin for us ( dire Auckland traffic 😩) Not a problem, as Bar Staff had all our details, so all sorted. The room was a haven! Huge bed, spacious bathroom, everything spotless and lots of towels! Extra bikkies with our coffee too ❣️ Everything just perfect!

13 year old plus dad flying from wgn for so s bday gift being auto fest. Noticed confirmation said a double, and not the two singles we thought. Despite contacting motel before arriving andmore than once, no response and had to squash up in double and we think that's a bit crap

Due for surgery at 7am in Pukekohe,this made the trip better as only 15min ride to hospital. Bar/Restaurant next door. Excellent shower and comfort in ground floor room.
