The Colossus Lagos

I haven't had a feel for the rooms yet but the buffet and service was wonderful. The servers were nice. And they had quite a variety of food. It's fair. Not luxurious and not mind-blowing fantastic. But for a place you can have good variety and eat your fill and just enjoy the ambience and service...its well worth it.

This is the second time I'm coming here for the buffet and it's satisfying 👌🏾✨. The spread is so good, I've a lotta options and I love it even though there's no seafood in it. Customer service is topnotch too✨. 5 stars all the way🤩.

Checking was smooth. Receptionists on duty require more training - lack courtesy. No towel in the room. No toothbrush and toothpaste. I called reception to request and they promised to bring one, only to be asked to pay cash of N3,000 for it. I asked for it to be charged to the room and the staff who brought the item refused and went back with it. No hand towel was ever provided in the throughout my stay whether in the first or second room move. The second room also had one old looking towel. I had to call for a towel change before two good looking large towels were brought. The TV in the first room was bad too. Please change it.

Nice,clean and comfortable rooms. The interior ambience is good. Breakfast buffet nice with good options. Air-conditioning is central, difficult to control for individual rooms. Staff are friendly. I got an upgrade as a first time guest. Plan to stay there again.

I have stayed here about thrice. The rooms I have stayed in are not too big but they are cozy and contain the basic essentials in a good hotel. The TV is big enough and it's a smart TV, the WiFi is good and can be connected to the internet easily. You have two clean towels and a floor towel. The complimentary breakfast is so on point with varieties to choose from. But I had a bad experience with a toilet not flushing well in one of the rooms which was not much of an issue as maintenance fixed the problem immediately. The hotel has a beautiful ambience. The only challenge here is the central air conditioning system. It is too cold for comfort . The AC regulators do not work in the rooms, one cannot know where to turn off cos zero is extremely cold and same with the 100. Hence all the regulators are not working and one cannot open the windows either. If they can work on the AC and replace the regulators so that they can be easily turned off when the room gets too cold, it would just be perfect. Otherwise it's not a place for people who cannot withstand too much cold as they could come down with pneumonia if one stays here for a long period of time. They have a roof top restaurant and bar, a swimming pool, the gym and even a spa, where one can relax in the evening. A love garden which they explained is for paid mini events like birthdays for a few friends and family, wedding proposals etc. Overall it's a very beautiful hotel and well managed too.
