Had a suite with an amazing view of the river. Really friendly staff. Plenty of restaurants in walking dustance and close to all tour pick up points. Excellent breakfast and chef really friendly. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic hotel, modern and very clean. Warm welcome when we arrived by Andy who was on the evening shift. He made us feel really welcome as he could see we were excited to arrive in beautiful tromso. Breakfasts provided lots of choice, good food, and the rooms were clean, comfortable and the beds were comfortable also. Amazing view of Tromso from our 11th floor window. The sky bar is a unique touch and is a relaxing place to enjoy a drink at the end of your day. Loved this hotel, everything about it.

Disappointing. Hotel in dire need of an upgrade . It’s very tatty and so not worth anywhere near the price per night in its current state. The rooms are small - but I do think they make that clear as the meterage is clearly marked. Do not go for anything under a superior or deluxe if you want any room at all. There is nowhere to put clothes - and yet they provide an iron and ironing board. Hilarious. We had a deluxe room and had to keep our clothes in the case. Not ideal when you tend to need bigger and more clothes because of the colder weather. The reception areas are dirty and unkempt- looks like the place is falling apart, The staff on reception are really good, but beware the breakfast staff/situation. Breakfast finishes at 10am ON THE DOT and a buzzer even goes off. The staff then LITERALLY start grabbing the food, plates, utensils - I watched a member of staff snatch a spoon out from under a guests nose. It’s ridiculous and RUDE. This is how it should work and works worldwide - no more seating of guests after 10am - those already in the breakfast room should be “allowed” to finish their breakfast - not have plates SNATCHED from under them. It was appalling behaviour from the staff. Such a shame this hotel doesn’t live up expectations and I advise anyone travelling to Tromso to book one of the other hotels on the dock. You may be able to hang your clothes up, or at least take them from the case and have breakfast in peace.

Beautiful hotel right on the waterfront. We had rooms with great view of the harbor and surrounding areas. The bathroom was adequately stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. There is a rooftop bar, with balcony. The best part was the extensive breakfast buffet.

Wifi funktionierte nur bedingt, ständige Unterbrechungen. Neues Zimmer war besser. Dusche kaputt, konnte nicht repariert werden, einfach den Schlauch wieder ordentlich anbringen. Das Zimmer ist super klein, kaum Luft zum Atmen. Der Preis für so ein Zimmer grenzt an Diebstahl!

The room is way too small. Seems like a single room is converted to a double room. It also feels like the hotel is short staffing. We had to request twice (reminded reception on the 2nd day) for 2 pairs of slippers. The property is not well maintained either, the lobby’s sofa is wet and there’s rubbish on the hall way too.

Fantastic stay. The breakfast was a hit and a huge spread. One less thing to think about on vacation. Would highly recommend the hotel if it’s your first time in Tromso. It’s clean, easy and central to everything. Most of our tour pickups were just outside or a short 5 min walk. 100 percent would stay again.

Perfect location for exploring Tromsø and acceding the various trips

This is a nice hotel. The rooms have plenty of room, big bathroom. And it is very well located. The bar was nice. Bar tender fun and makes good cocktails. Amazing Breakfast, Delicious and fresh food. The hotel promotes non-waste and is conscious about the environment.

Great location and I would stay there again. Breakfast had many options and the hotel is well kept.

We stayed for 1 week 20th - 27th December 2024 and had a family room (2 adults & 2 kids - 11yrs and 14yrs). The room was fairly tight but we did all squeeze in. The kids shared a double sofa bed and the mattress was just about ok for them comfort wise. The shower was powerful and hot. The hotel location was perfect, quick walk into the centre and well positioned for all the tour pick up points. Breakfast provided a big range of options and whist it looked freshly prepared, all of the 'hot' food was cold, luke warn at best. We did opt to eat one evening meal in the restaurant but £196 for 4 of us and the 'hot' food was stone cold yet again. If they can improve the food, this would be a 5 star hotel for a trip to Tromso

Location was convenient to ride train to airport. Everything was exceptionally good. Breakfast was yummy.

Great location, good breakfast.

Very convenient to everything including the ferry terminal. That said, don’t try checking in when the ships arrive. Housekeeping was lacking. Staff is efficient but lacks a certain warmth. Breakfast Buffet was generally solid with lots of options but still searching for a good cup of coffee.

The property was top quality exceeded only by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.Amazung and thank you so much for your efforts in making other people's Christmas special whilst forgoing your own.Special mention to the lady who seemed to be in charge at breakfast who was exceptional.The buffet was the best ever.
