Exceeded our expectations. Great hotel

Almost everything about this property was great. My only real negative comment is the parking. However, do not let that sway you from not choosing this hotel. If I am paying to stay at your hotel, I SHOULD NOT have to pay to park there. Your hotel is already expensive, and I stayed in the tiniest room. But considering that there's virtually NO FREE PARKING in all of Bergen, I shouldn't have to pay to park at the hotel that I'm already paying to stay at. In my opinion, that is a cheap scam. Cheap, because the parking doesn't actually cost that much. However, you do have to pay every day, and because it's cheap I have to ask why even charge at all? BESIDES THAT, The staff was friendly, the restaurant in the lobby was fantastic, and even my small room was very cozy! Overall, this is a great hotel to stay at!

kettle not working, and man at reception desk said there were no spare kettles,and no vacant rooms from which to take a working kettle. Ridiculous, I cant believe there was not a single spare kettle in this large hotel. Man at reception desk was not interested in helping us. Very poor service, for the cost of the accommodation.

The property was lovely, but the room was small and the front desk wasn't very welcoming. Also, the dining room was terribly understaffed and our dining experience was not very good. I'm hoping they were just short servers that day because if that was not the case, I would not suggest trying to have dinner here. The breakfast buffett was good though.

Great a place to spend the night before an early morning flight. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Room is clean and bed comfortable. The included breakfast is a steal, with large selection of various food, even with smoked salmon.

Great hotel and location clise to airport but no shuttle so you either have to walk to the terminal or pay 200kr for a cab. Walk is about 10 mins fairly easy but not in heavy rain with a bunch of cases.

Breakfast, served early, was really excellent. Very close to the airport.

Just a host that have a problem because of my color of skin, but besides that a small but clean room, I will not return Expedia don allow me to put the proper word of a Ra not sure why they get offended by a word and not with a person that has that attitude

Walking distance to the airport, it was clean, and breakfast was so yummy.

Very conveniently located. 8 min walk from the Bergen airport. Flat screen tv in our room didn’t work.

Nice hotel near the Bergen airport. The restaurant offers especially delicious artisanal pizzas, and a huge breakfast buffet. Bed was comfortable, shower good. One could walk to the airport in good weather (12-15 minutes), but we took a taxi in the rain.

Nice clean big room. Our room was located about as far from elevators as possible, over 125 yards or more than an American football field. Our patio was huge with nice furniture but our view was an industrial site, not very relaxing. The room was very quiet - could not hear airplanes or other customers. Breakfast had a huge and varied selection but fried eggs and crepes were cold because they had been made in mass ahead of time and not kept warm enough. Also no toaster for bread and water was hard to find (not with other beverages, found in the food station). Booked this room through Expedia for two people but when checking in, they said it was for one person and were going to charge me an additional 200 NOK. Cleared up the confusion and they removed the charge.

We had one night booked at the end of our trip before flying out. Unfortunately we had to make an additional night’s reservation due to a minor accident. Staff was accommodating and we were so thankful to have such a wonderful and clean hotel. The breakfast was super amazing and way better than any hotel breakfast in the states. Staff was courteous, helpful, and respectful. Front desk staff was great. Also—location was super close to airport and light rail train to downtown Bergen. Very convenient. Will strongly consider the Scandic brand again should I have the opportunity.

The Scandic Hotel was amazing. The staff was polite and helpful and the room exceptionally clean. As one would expect in Norway. However, what really set them apart was I had an early (6am) flight and got up prepared to just go over to the airport hungry. However, much to my surprise the hotel already had its breakfast buffet up and running. This was amazing!

The hotel is a short walk from the airport and the breakfast buffet is excellent.
