The room I think is similar to a 3 star in other countries. I was very impressed that there was finally a hotel that had hot air and steady hot water. The service was very unsatisfactory for my wife and me. I was shocked that the waiter would take away the food on time at the end of breakfast, I have never seen them so punctual in anything else. Witnessed a father with his son who could only get bread by hand. The lobby attendant was magical and after being told that the correct room was not available, asked the “supervisor” and was able to magically conjure up the room we had reserved. I can't imagine how frustrating it would have been for other tourists who don't speak Spanish.

Hotel is clean. The location is great. The room was clean. The breakfast was decent. The staff at the breakfast buffet was unfriendly. They did not say good morning, nor did they ask if we needed anything. The bread table had some baguette like bread that I was denied access to. I was told even though they were edible, I could not eat them. WHAT???? Unbelievable!
Juan, the door man was friendly and attentive. The other door men were just standing there with their unfriendly behavior.

I got reservation one month ago 2 rooms with king bed in each room, when I go to check in, they don't have it, they offer me one room with two beds for a couple. That I disagree with hotel. I like to cancel, but they try to charge for those rooms. I decide to take off one bed for each room. anyway, the bed was small !!!

I have been staying at this hotel every time I come to Peru for the last 13 years and this time around, it has been disappointing. For breakfast, the service is inconsistent. Out of the two weeks we stayed at this hotel, the staff has only come to our table once to ask if we needed anything. Most of the time, they’re just walking around and not making eye contact. Throughout the day, it’s rare that anyone welcomes you or greets you. The only exception was Juan who always opened the front door for us and had a big smile on his face. He was fantastic!
The room cleaning service was also inconsistent. Some days we would have tissue paper, while other days we wouldn’t. The times that they would come was also irregular.
Staff overall seems to be unhappy, except for Juan of course.

We have enjoyed our stay at this hotel and are sad to leave. They were very accommodating with late check out and all the staff is very nice. Hotel is very clean . Staff is wonderful from housekeeping to front desk. Place is old school class. T
