Nirvana Bamboo Houses

This is an awesome place to stay at. The staff are very helpful and kind. Great customer service for sure. The beds are a little small, but I’m sure you can ask for a different room and they will accommodate whatever you need. Our rooms were well maintained and clean. I would definitely come back to this place

Great place for couple of nights. We were traveling 4 people but felt kinda stepping on each other. Although the rooms are a bit tiny and matress on the floor, its a fun experience. Major bonus to the family that lives there: the dive guide & his wife are super friendly and helpful. We rented motorbikes and booked canyonning (must try) on site. We havent tried the diving but i’m sure the guide is experienced. The resort feels like a nice community of people living togheter. Clean pool & lots of place for desk work. Best thing is the price for the quality. Living in the small bamboo bungalows is worth the experience. I recommend this resort for people looking to visit Maulbaul for a couple of days.

We loved our stay at Nirvana, the staff was so accommodating and helped us with everything we needed. We loved that the location was out of Panagsama, so nice and quiet. This was the best price in whole moalboal for 2 people. Even the hostels were more expensive, so a no brainer for us. To then be welcomed with such warmth and hospitality made our stay wonderful. We got ourselves certified in Padi open water and advanced open water. Thibault was very experienced and made sure we could enjoy the dives as well. Other dive schools only take you out to 1 or 2 locations, but with Nirvana we drove around to different dive spots which we really enjoyed. The owner was on holidays, but still checked in with us if we were alright. Something we did not expect, but appreciated a lot. We would 10/10 recommend staying here and doing your certifications with Thibault. We had an amazing experience, thanks to the staff and dive instructor.

Booked here for 1 night and extended for 5! Lovely space surrounded by nature a short distance from the touristy town. They have mini golf, pool and billiards table! Room was really clean and comfy and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We also did our Open Water PADI course here, it was such good value and our instructor Thibo was a LEGEND! He showed us so many cool fish and creatures on our dives! Definitely recommend :)
