Zamek Kliczków

We loved our stay at Zamek Kliczkow! The people were so nice, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the food was amazing. It was super relaxing and a good mid-point for our trip to Poland.

Zamek Kliczków – opinion Hello followers, Last month we visited Kliczków Castle. My wife and I received a gift voucher for a two-day stay at Kliczków Castle in Osiecznica. The gift was a big surprise for us and we were very excited about this stay. It looked promising, especially since the pictures on the internet were promising. But from the beginning. I booked the voucher we received directly at the hotel reception and set the arrival date, everything by phone. The room was supposed to be a double room, cozy and with a nice view. We arrived on time, parked the car in one of the three parking lots. After passing through the main gate, we went straight to the reception, which is located in the former stable. The reception staff was friendly and quick. We went to the room for a quick change, because dinner was already waiting for us. Dinner was supposed to be waiting for us in the restaurant, unfortunately after a longer search it turned out that dinner is located in the banquet hall. High in the attic. Lack of information translated into a longer time searching for the banquet hall. The next morning, swimming pool and then breakfast. There was a buffet, a long, abundant line of tables in the hall on the first floor, with several rooms (rooms) where you could have breakfast at a clean table, with comfortable chairs. After breakfast, sightseeing around the castle, taking pictures, videos, complete relaxation. Dinner again, this time in the same place where breakfast was. Dinner according to the menu to choose from two types of dishes. One meat dish, one vegetarian dish: soup, main course and dessert. Everything seemed great, but I have to point out a few significant shortcomings. Room - small, dark room with a low ceiling, dirty carpet, cobwebs on the walls. Additionally, the window in the room was small, and the view from the window was straight onto the roof of the former riding hall, which now houses the swimming pool. There was no view of the park around the castle. The room itself was equipped with two single beds. The beds are low, hard, uncomfortable. Generally - a huge minus. Swimming pool - small, intimate, clean. However, the lack of a lifeguard is a big minus. Additionally, in the men's locker room, the equipment leaves much to be desired. Worn-out benches, lockers and non-working showers - only one works. Dirty curtain separating the pool from the changing room. Service - no possibility to order regular ice cream and coffee to the room due to lack of service. (sic!) unacceptable in such a hotel. Lack of sufficient service in the cafe and lack of proper equipment in the cafe generates huge problems in customer service. Queue about 40 minutes waiting. Castle tour included in the price - PLN 40 even for hotel guests! Lack of interesting animation for hotel guests, lack of proper information about breakfasts, dinners. The surroundings of the castle, parks, walking paths and bike paths, poorly or not marked at all, not developed. There are no interesting places.

We stayed again!! The staff are very friendly and very helpful! The restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious! Just to walk in the courtyard is a joy. To see the architecture and beautiful structures can your time away. From the horses, the pizza parlor with burgers and onion rings, and the ice cream. To the grounds around the castle you walk and enjoy your day! A truly amazing place I hope to bring my family back to!! Thank you for taking care of us.

Beautiful historic building, with great staff, the rooms were huge and grand as you would expect from a castle. The food was amazing throughout our entire visit and the staff were all very accommodating and friendly even though we spoke no Polish. I would highly recommend this establishment :-)

Very nice stay in very big room. It was not super easy with the voucher to organize everything but it all worked out. The location is very nice and calm. There is not much around for shops, but the point is more for a calm atmosphere. The castle interior is very good and fitting with the theme. Small drawbacks, the pillows were not that comfortable and the hair dryer was very weak.
