When we booked the room, the photos showed two separate bedrooms and indicated 2 beds. When we arrived, we found 1 bed and 1 sofa. We went down to the reception to find out why this was so, plus we couldn't put one couple on the sofa because the guys had health problems. And they offered us to pay an extra 150 euros to get the room we booked. But if I had initially known that there would be a sofa, then for the same money you could have rented a full-fledged hotel with two bedrooms. Later, we also noticed a crushed insect on the walls, and a bunch of spiders and webs, which made it impossible to use one bathroom. One day, someone entered our room without our knowledge when we were inside) This is absolutely abnormal. The guys at the reception said that it was not their fault and that all the guests complain. But if everyone complains, I don't see any bad reviews) This is the first time I've seen such a high surcharge for something I've already booked! This is the first time regular people have come into my room, not cleaning! This is the first time I've seen a dead insect smeared on the wall) This was horrible. I recommend everyone to triple check what room you're booking and not pay attention to the photos, because they're so different from reality!

We recently stayed at Apartments Arc Carris in Porto for two nights. Despite initial concerns about noise, we were pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The apartments matched the online photos, being clean, spacious, and well soundproofed. Managed by Carris Hotel, the service was excellent, and housekeeping was great. Although we didn't try the hotel's breakfast, we enjoyed local bakeries nearby. The location was ideal, just a five-minute walk to the Duoro River, with plenty of shops and restaurants close to the Dom Luis Bridge. We stayed in duplex 2.4, which featured sage green walls and a city view, perfect for our two young children who loved the stairs and mezzanine layout. I highly recommend it for its central location, spaciousness, and affordability. The only downside was the overpowering scent upon entering the apartment, but overall, it was a wonderful stay.

This hotel is in a great location for exploring central Porto on foot. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment across the street and really enjoyed the amount of space for the price paid. The included breakfast was well done. The check-in process involves you checking in at the main hotel where you are given directions for accessing the apartments. Here you get the best of both worlds in terms of apartment space but with hotel breakfast and housekeeping. We would recommend, and will stay again if in town.

Room 4.2 is a two double bed setup across two floors with lounge, kitchen and 2 balconies. Unbeatable location one road from the Douro river and easy access to the Porto districts as well as over the river in Vila de Gaia. It's separate from the hotel (but serviced by it) so you get a private apartment vibe. Top notch.

Best decision ever booking our stay with them. Impossible to get better location and stuff very friendly and helpful. Possibility to have breakfast at the hotel located just a few meters away from our apartment. A lot of variety and everything delicious, also the decoration of the dining room area 😍 lovely. Easy walking distance to almost all the touristic points in the city plus we always found place to park the car just in front of our place. Point out the cleanliness as well! Immaculate! We’ll most likely repeat!
